Romance is not a phase here, it is the point
With Venus in Leo in the 5th house, the sign is standing in the room it governs and nothing is understated. Falling in love is something you do properly: the attention, the plans, the sense that this particular person deserves an occasion rather than a coffee.
So love is not one part of your life competing with the others. It is where a great deal of your best energy goes, and a period without anybody to adore leaves you noticeably diminished in ways that have very little to do with loneliness.
Courtship, staged as it should be
You do not do casual well. Even the early stage gets a plan, a table booked, something thought about, and the person on the receiving end is usually more flattered than they expected to be. This is a real skill. Just check occasionally whether they want the production or would rather have an ordinary evening, and ask rather than assuming.
Whole-hearted, and unsuited to hedging
When you are in, you are entirely in, and you find people who keep their options open genuinely baffling rather than merely frustrating. Your devotion is the best thing you have to offer. It is also given quickly, so make the person earn a little of it, not to be strategic but because you have been generous with it before to no purpose.
What you make is meant to be seen
Your creative work is not for the drawer. Performance, display, an audience, somebody's actual reaction: this is part of the making rather than an optional afterwards. Stop treating the wish to be seen as a failing. It is the engine here, and the work you produce for nobody has consistently been the work you did not finish.
With children, entirely on their side
Around children you are the adult who takes them seriously, praises them specifically, and is visibly delighted by them. Children raised near you carry that for life. The thing to watch is the pride becoming a requirement, since a child who senses they are also a source of your standing has a harder job than one who is simply enjoyed.
Courtship was never supposed to stop
Being courted matters to you long after the courting is officially over: the plan somebody made, the gesture with visible effort in it, the evening arranged rather than defaulted into. Without that, a settled relationship starts to feel like a flatshare with history attached. Ask for the arranging by name and take your turn at it, because the person opposite is usually willing and has quietly concluded that the two of you are past all that.
You pay for the version people remember
Given a choice you take the better seats, the proper table, the thing done to a standard, and you are almost never sorry about it afterwards. The regrets in your history are about occasions you scaled down, not ones you overspent on. Decide which two events a year get the full treatment and let the rest be genuinely modest, since attempting all of them properly is what actually causes the trouble.
The heart of it is enthusiasm
Your vitality tracks how excited you are about something, more reliably than it tracks sleep or exercise. A stretch with nothing to look forward to costs you more physically than a busy one with something in it. Keep something planned at all times, however small, since for you anticipation is not a mood but an actual input.
Work with performance in it
Anything with an audience suits you: teaching, presenting, entertaining, design, sales, leading a room. Work that hides you produces steadily worse output regardless of how competent you are. Take the visible version of any role, even at some cost in security, since the alternative is doing your job at a fraction of what you are capable of.
The parent who is also the audience
You attend the performances, keep the drawings, tell people what your children are good at. Being witnessed by you is one of the better things about being in your family. Make sure the praise is not all achievement-shaped, since a household where attention arrives with results attached teaches something you did not intend to teach.
