There is no line between you and the person you are close to
There is no natural boundary here at all. In closeness you take on the other person's moods, tastes, opinions and rhythms without ever deciding to, and usually without noticing at any point along the way that it has happened.
That is Uranus in Pisces, shared across a whole span of birth years as a dissolving of what separates one thing from another, arriving in the seventh house — the half set by your birth hour, which governs one-to-one relationships. So the merging is not a choice you keep making; it is the default state, and everything useful here is about what you build against it.
You become somewhat like whoever you are with
Across a series of relationships, different versions of you have existed, each shaped by the person you were with. None of them was a performance. It makes you easy to be close to and it means the question of what you actually want is genuinely hard to answer, particularly while you are in something.
The outline goes, and then something objects
The cost arrives late: after a long period of accommodation, something in you refuses abruptly, and the exit looks sudden from outside. Nobody did anything wrong at any point. Keeping one commitment that predates the relationship and does not get renegotiated is the structural measure, and it works where resolving to hold your ground does not.
Read as easy-going, running on absorption
Partners conclude you have no strong preferences. What is happening is that yours become hard to locate in somebody else's presence, which is a different thing entirely. Deciding what you want before the conversation, in writing if necessary, is not excessive here — it is the only way to bring a position into a room where it would otherwise dissolve.
A bond that does not depend on terms
What builds here, when it goes well, is a closeness that survives without rules: an understanding that holds through long silences, distance and periods where nothing is agreed. Very few relationships can do that. It is worth knowing it is your particular achievement rather than luck, because it is the thing to protect when somebody suggests formalising everything.
Leaving is the part you cannot do
Ending a relationship means holding a position against somebody whose distress you can feel as though it were your own, which is why you have stayed years past the point of knowing. It is not weakness and it is not indecision; their side of it is simply fully audible to you. Deciding while you are apart, and telling one other person the decision before you next see them, is the only method that has ever survived contact.
Nobody is sure how close you actually are
Your friendships carry no declared status: people you count among the closest may have no idea they hold that position, and others assume an intimacy you do not feel. The vagueness is mutual and most of it originates with you. Telling one person plainly where they sit — that they are one of three, or that you think about them often — is a strange sentence to produce out loud and it lands better than almost anything else available to you.
You take on the client's problem as your own
In working relationships the boundary goes the same way: their deadline becomes your anxiety, their difficulty becomes your responsibility, and none of it is in the agreement. It makes you exceptional to work with and it is unpaid. A written scope, however brief, is worth more to you than to most people, because it is the only edge that exists.
You married their family as well
You absorb your partner's family in a way that is unusual: their difficulties become yours, their moods reach you, and you may be more affected by their situations than your partner is. That is genuine and it is a lot to carry. Deciding which of their problems are actually yours, explicitly, is a boundary nobody else will draw for you.
Their state arrives in your body
When the person closest to you is unwell, anxious or unhappy, you register it physically before they have said anything, and you can carry the effects for days after they have recovered. It is not sympathy, it is transmission. Time apart is the only thing that clears it, and it should be understood as maintenance rather than as a comment on the relationship.
