If this had a job description it would read: enter a room, take in more than anyone asked for, hand it back in a form nobody else could have produced. Uranus in Pisces dissolves the wall between real and imagined across a whole span of birth years; the first house makes you the instrument.
In practice you register the mood of a place before anybody speaks, and your own manner has already adjusted to it. None of that passes through a decision, which is why you often cannot say afterwards why you behaved as you did. The receiving is not optional here; only what you do with the reception is.

Different people would describe you in incompatible ways and each of them is reporting accurately. Something about how you receive things means strangers tell you a great deal very quickly. It builds an unusual set of connections and it also means a good deal of your social life consists of holding other people's material. Ending an evening at a fixed time, decided before you arrive, protects the part of you that would otherwise stay until everyone is finished.
Paid for perception, undersold on paper
Your working strength is noticing the thing nobody has articulated: the client's real objection, the mood of a market, the flaw in an idea that everyone is still enthusiastic about. It is genuinely valuable and it does not fit into a job description. Attach the perception to a concrete output every time — a written recommendation, a design, a decision made — because otherwise it is absorbed for free.
You take on the shape of the relationship
In closeness the edges go first: their tastes, their schedule, their view of things gradually become yours, and you rarely notice while it happens. Then something in you objects abruptly and the exit looks sudden from outside. Keeping one commitment that predates the relationship entirely, and not renegotiating it, is what prevents the whole arc from repeating.
The one who felt everything the family did not say
You picked up on what was not being discussed long before you had the words for it, and probably assumed for years that everybody else knew too. They mostly did not. Checking one of those old readings with a sibling or a relative now is worth doing, because you have been carrying conclusions nobody ever confirmed.
