The other person is the whole subject
Somebody said something reasonable and you agreed to it, and three years later you are still living inside that agreement. Pluto in Libra in the 7th house puts the sign in the house it governs, so partnership arrives doubled with nothing to dilute it.
Pluto spends years in a sign and roughly two hours crossing a house, which is the difference between the halves of this. The Libra tone belongs to everybody arriving in that long window; the house was fixed by the minute you were born. One tradition also reads Pluto as in its fall in Libra, on the grounds that it is exalted in the opposite sign, while others assign it no such position at all. This site notes the fall: the difficulty here is not unfairness but that you will trade away your own position to keep the arrangement intact.
The pairing you studied before you had one
Behind this there was a pairing you observed closely: two adults whose settlement determined the temperature of everything else. You worked out who held what and what it cost the other one, long before you had the vocabulary. That analysis went in as a template rather than as a memory. It has been operating in your own relationships ever since, and it has never once been reviewed against the evidence of your actual life.
Where the intensity gathers
On who is conceding. Not on love, not on compatibility: on the running distribution of accommodation between the two of you. You can be genuinely happy with somebody and still be keeping an exact account of who moved last. That account is invisible to them and it decides how you feel about them over years. It also builds without ever producing a single conversation, which is the actual problem.
Read as accommodating, running on calculation
Partners think you do not mind much, because you rarely state a preference and you are genuinely good at making things work. Then a threshold is reached and the response is complete, cold and final, and they cannot connect it to anything. Nothing came from nowhere; it came from four years of small unspoken entries. Say the objection at the first occurrence in an ordinary voice, and you will never need the other voice.
An arrangement that is actually stated
What works for you is a partnership where the terms are explicit and revisited: who does what, what each of you needs, what is being traded and by whom. That sounds like a contract and it is the opposite of romantic in your imagination. In practice it is what allows you to stop keeping the private ledger. Put one unspoken term into words this month and notice how much lighter the room becomes.
The thing you have never asked them for
There is something you want from your partner that you have never once requested, on the grounds that a request would make it worth less if they then supplied it. So you wait to be offered it and are quietly disappointed for years. That reasoning is elegant and it has never worked. Ask for it plainly this month and let them have the chance to say yes.
Deciding without checking it against somebody
Your judgement forms in relation to another person, so a decision made entirely alone feels unfinished rather than free. That is why you consult, and why you can end up living inside somebody else's reasoning without noticing the transfer. Make one decision this year with nobody consulted, from beginning to end. The point is not the outcome, it is finding out what your unaccompanied judgement actually sounds like.
Identified by who you work beside
Professionally you are frequently described in relation to a particular colleague, firm or principal, and a good deal of your standing has been borrowed from that association. It has opened doors and it has also made you difficult to see on your own terms. Do one visible piece of work this year with your name alone on it, however small, purely so that the record exists somewhere.
What the settlement would look like
You have never worked out, even privately, how things would be divided if the arrangement ended, because thinking about it feels like a small act of disloyalty. Meanwhile the entanglement grows and the terms remain unwritten. Spend an hour on it alone, without telling anybody. Knowing the answer is not a plan to leave; not knowing is an exposure you have simply declined to look at.
Everybody wants your verdict on the couple
Relatives bring you the state of their marriages and expect a balanced view, and you supply one, and neither side has ever thanked you for it. The role was handed to you decades ago on the strength of being reasonable. Decline it once, out loud, with the plain sentence that you would rather not have an opinion. You will find out quickly how much of the closeness rested on that service.
