A warmth nobody has seen the size of
Put a Leo Venus in the house of the Unconscious and you get a large, generous heart with the volume turned down. The affection is there at full strength; the display that usually accompanies it is not, and people consistently underestimate how much you care about them.
There is often a wish to be seen that you find embarrassing to admit, and which therefore never gets met. It does not go away by being denied. It simply waits, and turns up as a disproportionate reaction to some small oversight years later.
Given anonymously, and meant entirely
Your generosity tends to be arranged so that nobody knows it came from you: the money passed through somebody else, the recommendation made quietly, the help that arrived without a name. The integrity of that is real. Just make sure it is a choice rather than a way of never having to be thanked, since those look identical from outside.
A creative life conducted in private
There is usually something you make, play or write that almost nobody has seen, and it is better than you allow. The wish to show it and the fear of showing it are the same size, which is why it has stayed where it is. Show one person. Not an audience; one person, chosen carefully, this year.
Praise you cannot quite take
When recognition does arrive you deflect it, change the subject, or attribute it elsewhere, and then feel obscurely unfed. The deflection is habit rather than modesty. Practise taking a compliment without adding anything to it: two words, and then silence. It is uncomfortable for about three seconds and it changes what praise is actually able to do for you.
Solitude is where the confidence gets rebuilt
Time alone is not a retreat from the world for you; it is where you recover the capacity to be generous in it. Without it the warmth thins and the pride gets brittle. Arrange the solitude deliberately and say what it is for, since everyone who knows you assumes you are at your best in company and would never think to leave you alone.
Devotion that will never be publicly claimed
There is often somebody you have loved without any of it being acknowledged: unspoken, impossible, or simply never mentioned. The devotion is entirely real and it has no witness. Give it some form, even privately, so it is not carried as a permanent low ache, and be honest with yourself about whether the impossibility was ever actually the obstacle.
The person behind the person
You do outstanding work in support of somebody else's visible role: the adviser, the producer, the one who made it possible. It suits your competence and it starves the part of you that wants to be seen. Keep one thing that carries your name, however small, since the supporting role alone eventually stops feeling like generosity and starts feeling like erasure.
You would rather give than be seen needing
Asking for money, help or better terms is genuinely difficult here, and you will go without rather than appear to be short. That pride is expensive. Ask one person for one thing this year, out loud and specifically, and notice that being helped does not diminish you in anybody's estimation but your own.
Unspent generosity turns inward
When there is nobody to give to, the warmth does not simply rest; it turns into restlessness and a low, unfocused dissatisfaction with yourself. The correction is an outlet rather than a holiday. Find somewhere your generosity can go regularly, ideally in person, since the absence of somewhere to spend it is the actual cause of most of your flat months.
Applause is allowed to be a real need
You have probably decided that wanting to be admired is a fault to be corrected, and spent years suppressing something that was never going to go away. It is a requirement, not a character flaw. Arrange a legitimate outlet for it, and the whole apparatus of denial and disproportionate hurt can simply be dismantled.
