Friendly with everybody, impossible to place
Aquarius Venus in the 1st house turns your presence into something open and slightly unclassifiable. You are warm with everybody, equally, from the first minute, and people frequently cannot work out afterwards whether they actually know you.
The warmth is genuine and it is not the same as intimacy. What you offer immediately is interest and equality; what takes considerably longer is anything personal, and the gap between the two catches people out regularly.
A style assembled from nowhere in particular
What you wear is put together from parts that were not designed to go together, and it works because you are wearing it rather than because it follows anything. You are unmoved by what is current. Keep the instinct, and notice that in certain rooms it costs you credibility that a plainer choice would have bought for nothing.
Everyone gets the same manner
The chief executive and the person clearing the table receive an identical version of you, and this is one of the genuinely admirable things about how you operate. It also reads as insufficiently deferential in hierarchies that expect otherwise. You need not change it. Do decide knowingly which rooms it is going to cost you something in.
People sense a distance they cannot name
Something in you stays back, watching, even in the middle of an animated conversation, and the people closest to you have felt it without being able to describe it. It is not coldness; it is observation. Say that this is how you are built, since the alternative is a partner or a friend quietly concluding they have failed to reach you.
Being categorised is genuinely unpleasant
Any attempt to summarise you produces an immediate wish to prove it wrong, and you have changed course before now largely to escape a description. That reflex protects your independence and it also makes you contrary about things you would otherwise have agreed with. Notice when the objection is to the label rather than to the substance.
Say plainly what closeness you can offer
What you have to give is loyalty, honesty and a great deal of room, and what you find difficult is the daily emotional weather of a relationship. Both should be stated at the beginning. Somebody who knows the terms can be very happy with them; somebody who assumed otherwise will spend years trying to reach a version of you that does not exist.
You live in your head and forget the rest
Your attention runs on ideas and the body is dealt with when it interrupts, which means the tiredness is well advanced before you register it. Nothing about your instincts is going to change. Use external structure instead: fixed meals, fixed hours, something in the calendar, since the internal signal here is effectively switched off.
Independence you have never actually tested
You have organised a great deal of your life around not being obliged to anybody, and the arrangement has never been examined to see what it costs. Try depending on somebody for one substantial thing, deliberately. The point is not to become dependent; it is to find out whether the fear underneath the independence still applies.
Hired for being unlike the others
Organisations take you on because you bring a different angle and then find the difference inconvenient about eight months in. That cycle is predictable rather than personal. Establish at the start what you are actually being asked for, since the gap between the reason you were hired and the behaviour subsequently expected is where all the trouble here lives.
Indifferent to what money is supposed to signal
Status purchases hold no interest for you and you would rather spend on something interesting than on something impressive. That saves you a great deal. Where it costs you is in rooms where presentation is a credential, so keep one or two conventional things for those occasions and be as indifferent as you like everywhere else.
