Slow to arrive, and then structurally unmovable
Slow and then permanent is the shape of partnership for you. It takes a very long time before anybody is genuinely inside the arrangement, and once they are, almost nothing dislodges them — not distance, not a bad decade, not their own behaviour.
The Taurus half is common material across a whole span of birth years and rebuilds foundations; the seventh house, decided by your birth hour, is where yours went. So the arrangement you eventually settle into is likely to be unconventional in its terms and entirely conventional in its durability, which is a combination few people manage.
You give a partner something rare
What you offer is not excitement but ground: the same person, the same commitments, year after year, through circumstances that would end most arrangements. People who have had unstable relationships find this almost disorienting at first. It is the actual value you bring and it is worth knowing that, because it is invisible in the early stages when other qualities are being compared.
Total commitment leaves no margin
Because you do not partially commit, ending anything requires dismantling a structure rather than walking away, and the cost of that keeps you in arrangements past their useful life. The staying is not always loyalty. Reviewing the arrangement deliberately at intervals, while it is going well, is what makes leaving a decision rather than a demolition.
The other person is not always sure where they stand
You do not restate your position, because to you it obviously still applies, and a partner can go a long time on a statement made years ago. Silence reads as drift to almost everybody. Repeating something you consider settled, occasionally and without prompting, is not redundant for them and it costs you a sentence.
A partnership nobody could have predicted
What builds here tends to be an arrangement that surprised everyone who knew you, and then simply kept working for decades while more conventional pairings around it dissolved. It is worth understanding what makes it hold, because from inside it looks like luck. Being able to name the mechanism means you could rebuild it if you ever had to.
A small number of very old friendships
Your close relationships are few, formed slowly, and have lasted for a very long time, which means your social life is thin and unusually deep. New people rarely get through. Accepting one connection a year that you would ordinarily let lapse is the small correction, since the current arrangement makes you increasingly dependent on people who could move away.
Constancy is what you are actually for
The thing you provide, across every relationship in your life, is that you do not change: your positions, your commitments and your presence stay put while everything around them moves. That has been the whole contribution and it is easy to undervalue because it involves no visible effort. Naming it lets you stop measuring yourself against people whose gift is something else entirely.
One partner, one long arrangement
Professionally you do best in a single sustained working relationship rather than a portfolio of clients: one employer, one collaborator, one long-running arrangement you improve over years. Variety costs you more than it gives. Choosing depth explicitly, and negotiating for the long term rather than the immediate rate, plays to how you actually operate.
You married into it properly or not at all
With a partner's family you either commit fully — turning up, remembering, doing the work over years — or remain politely outside, and there is no middle setting available. Where you committed, you are now more reliable than the blood relatives. Where you did not, a single deliberate gesture is enough to change the position, and it will be remembered.
You absorb a difficult partnership physically
Tension with somebody close does not get discussed and does not go away; it settles in the neck, the jaw and the digestion, and it can run for years at a level you have stopped noticing. The body knows before you will admit it. A persistent physical complaint with no medical cause is worth reading as a relational question here before it is treated as anything else.
