A base to leave from, not a place to be kept
Sun in Sagittarius lands in your 4th house, so home matters enormously and cannot be a container. What you want is somewhere to set out from and return to, with the returning genuinely welcome and the setting out unquestioned. You need a household that does not treat departure as disloyalty.
That is a more specific requirement than it sounds, and it explains a lot of friction. A partner or a family who reads your going as a rejection turns the one place that should restore you into the place that costs the most.
Roots that travel with you
You can make a home almost anywhere within about a fortnight: the books out, the kitchen working, somebody invited round. Belonging for you is portable and does not attach to a building. That is a genuine capability and it means you may keep moving long past the point where staying would have given you something.
Opinions aired at the table
The household you grew up in probably had strong views expressed freely, or else a silence you have spent your life correcting. Either way, your own home runs on saying what you think, at volume, without much wounding. Check that everybody living there experiences it the same way, because a family style is only genial if the quietest person agrees.
The house that is not quite settled
There is often something provisional about your domestic arrangements: the flat you have not decorated, the boxes unopened, the sense of being between places for eleven years. That is a decision you have been making passively. Either commit to somewhere properly or accept the provisional life on purpose, since the unexamined middle is what makes it feel unsatisfying.
Somewhere you actually want to come back to
The version of this that works is a base built deliberately for return: comfortable, uncluttered, with people in it who are glad to see you and do not require an account of where you have been. Build that on purpose. The travelling is easy for you and the returning is the part that needs designing.
The one who went abroad
Distance in your family is often literal, and you are usually the one who created it. Visiting is not the same as being present. Give a proper stretch rather than a long weekend when you go, because the actual conversations only start on about the third day and you are rarely there for it.
A partner who packs their own bag
Domestic life works for you with somebody who has their own reasons for going places, so that departure never has to be negotiated as an abandonment. Say this early rather than discovering it in year three. Somebody who wants a partner permanently at home is not a bad person and is not your person.
Renting is a strategy, not a failure
Property attracts you less than mobility does, and the standard advice about getting on the ladder may genuinely not fit your life. Decide it explicitly rather than by default, and if you choose flexibility, invest the difference somewhere. The failure mode in this placement is not renting, it is renting for twenty years and saving nothing, which is a decision made by omission.
Recovery does not have to happen at home
Unusually for this house, you restore as well elsewhere as in your own bed, which means a change of scene genuinely works as a reset. Use it. When you are flat, three days somewhere unfamiliar and undemanding does more for you than a fortnight of resting in the same rooms, and it does not have to be far away.
Deciding where home actually is
A life spread across several places is workable and it requires a decision about which one is the base, made deliberately rather than left ambiguous. Name it this year, even provisionally, and then invest in it as though it were permanent. Living in ambiguity costs you more than choosing wrongly would, because nothing gets built either way.
