Not perfectionism, an inspection pointed inward
It is not perfectionism, whatever people have told you. Perfectionism wants things beautiful. Pluto in Virgo in the 1st house runs an inspection instead: it finds the fault, in the plan, in the room, in you, and it will not release attention until that fault has been located and named.
Pluto crosses a sign slowly, so the Virgo setting is the shared half here, common to a long run of birth years and not a personal trait. Your birth time is what put it in the 1st house. That is the individual half, and it is a significant one: the instrument is aimed at yourself rather than at your work or your health arrangements, which is why the standard you apply to you is not the standard you apply to anyone else.
Where the correcting began
Somewhere behind this is a household where something was continuously not quite right and somebody was expected to notice. Perhaps a person who needed managing, perhaps a standard nobody could reach. The vigilance arrived rather than the reason for it, and it went straight into the way you check yourself before entering any room.
The audit that never files a final report
You review the conversation afterwards, and the day before that, and the version of yourself that showed up to both. There is no completion condition written into this. Time-box it: one pass, one correction, then closed. Without a boundary the review runs on the only subject continuously available to it, which is you.
Read as cold, running on care
You say the accurate thing about a plan and somebody hears contempt. What was actually happening is that you took the plan seriously enough to test it, which is the highest form of attention you have. Say the second part aloud. It costs one sentence and it changes what the first sentence means.
Point the forensic eye at something worth surgery
You can see the exact failure point in a system that everybody else is patching, and that skill is genuinely scarce. Spent on your own appearance and your own sentences it produces nothing. Choose the object of it deliberately each week, because unassigned, it defaults to the nearest target, and the nearest target is always you.
Useful first, admitted second
You enter groups through usefulness: you fix the thing, you notice the gap, you handle what nobody else handled. It works, and it also means people know what you do before they know you. Try arriving once without a contribution. It is uncomfortable and it is the only way to find out whether you are wanted for yourself.
The body is a system you can over-monitor
Digestion and nerves take the load here, and you will read every signal closely, which cuts both ways: you catch real things early and you can also spend months investigating a body that is simply tired. Set a rule in advance about when you look and when you leave it alone. Without a rule the monitoring expands to fill the day.
Paid properly for finding the actual fault
Quality work, forensic work, anything where the value is in locating the real problem rather than the reported one. You are worth a great deal in these and you routinely price yourself as support staff. Write down the last three failures you caught before they became expensive, with the numbers attached, and take that into your next pay conversation.
The correction that was meant as attention
You show love by improving things, including the person, and they experience it as being marked. It is not what you meant and it is what arrived. Ration the notes: one that matters, and let the rest go. Then say plainly what you would not change about them, which is the sentence you have never once said aloud.
You were the one who got adjusted
Growing up, the standard was applied to you personally rather than to your work: how you sat, how you spoke, what you were about to become if somebody did not intervene. You absorbed the method completely and now run it on yourself without needing anyone present. Say once, out loud to someone safe, which specific correction you are still repeating on their behalf.
