You can name the day the house changed
You can point to a day when the atmosphere at home changed completely and nothing was explained. Pluto in Pisces in the 4th house dissolves the edges of the base, so what happened to the people you lived with arrived in you directly, without translation and without anybody deciding to tell you.
Two different scales are stacked here. The Pisces half belongs to a birth cohort covering many years, because Pluto marks a whole span with the same tone about boundaries and merging. The 4th house half was set by the hour you were born. It means the porousness is located at the foundation, so the family's condition and your own have never been fully separate quantities.
What people at home get wrong about you
They think you were the easy one: quiet, adaptable, no trouble. What was actually happening is that you were absorbing the household's state and had no mechanism for keeping it out. Easy and permeable look identical from outside. Correct the record with one person who was there, since the family history has been running on the wrong version.
The boundary that never formed
Where other people have a line between their own mood and the room's, you have a gradient. At home this is at its strongest: you cannot be settled while somebody in the house is not. Practise naming whose feeling it is, out loud if necessary, since the naming is the boundary and there is no other one available.
One person set the temperature for everybody
On the parent or relative whose state set the weather for everybody. One person in that house determined the temperature and your attention was permanently tuned to them, at an age when you had no other option. That tuning is still running now, aimed at whoever currently occupies the equivalent position, which is usually a partner and occasionally a child.
A base with edges you built yourself
What you need at home is not more comfort, it is definition: a room that is yours, hours that are yours, a rule about what gets brought through the door. Those sound cold and they are what makes closeness bearable for you. Put one of them in place this month and observe how much more available you become.
You were tuned to one person's weather
Somebody at home was struggling, and reading them accurately became your full-time occupation before you were old enough to be asked. You are still doing it with whoever is nearest. Notice when the scanning starts and ask whether this person has actually asked for anything, because most of the time nobody has and the reflex is running on its own.
Nothing underneath was ever firm
The base you were given moved: a household that changed shape, a parent who was differently present from year to year, a home you could not count on being the same next month. You built a way of living that requires no fixed ground. That is real skill and it has left you without practice at trusting anything solid.
The door is always open, including to the wrong people
Your home takes people in easily, including some who should not have been let in and stayed longer than they should have. The openness is genuine and it has no filter attached. Decide who is welcome before the situation arises, since in the moment you will not be able to refuse anybody standing in front of you.
Sharing a home dissolves the line completely
Once you live with somebody, their hours, moods and preferences become the climate you exist in, and locating yourself inside it takes deliberate work. Keep one thing wholly yours inside the shared life: a room, an evening, a practice nobody else attends. It is not protection against them, it is the place you go in order to remain somebody worth living with.
The domestic arrangement nobody wrote down
Who owns what, who contributes what, what happens if it ends: at home these have been left comfortably vague, and the vagueness feels like trust. It is not trust, it is an unwritten contract with you on the weaker side. Put it on paper while everybody is fond of each other, because that is the only time it can be done kindly.
