Most careers follow a path, yours took an unusual route
An Aquarius Moon in the 10th house does not settle into the expected professional shape. The role you occupy probably did not exist when you started, the route to it was not the standard one, and a conventional ladder would have lost you long before the top of it.
What that gives an organisation is somebody genuinely outside the assumptions everybody else shares. You can see what the institution is actually doing rather than what it says it is doing, which is uncomfortable and occasionally invaluable.

Let yourself be given a title
Indifference to the formal position is genuine and it costs you leverage: authority you already exercise informally would be considerably more effective with a name attached. Take the title once, even though it seems beside the point, since it is the mechanism by which other people know how much of your judgement to accept.
The job that has not been defined yet
The roles that suit you are the ones nobody has held before: the post created for a problem, the function invented halfway through, the job whose title had to be made up. Settled positions with an established way of doing things will use about a third of what you have and irritate the rest. Take the undefined version even where it pays less, since the definition is the part you supply and it is worth more than the grade.
You notice the strain long after it began
Interesting problems will keep you working long past the point where anything is being gained, because absorption feels identical to energy from inside it. The account of how the year is going, when you give it, is usually a description of the work rather than of yourself. Ask somebody who sees you regularly what they have noticed, since their observation is more reliable than yours and considerably faster.
Nobody at home could describe your job
What you do professionally probably departed from anything the household recognised, and the resulting bafflement is permanent and mostly harmless. Give them a usable sentence rather than an accurate one. The effort to be understood in detail costs more, at every family occasion, than the misunderstanding does. Choose something short and roughly true, since what your relatives need is a sentence to repeat rather than an understanding of the field.
Well regarded and hard to place
Your professional reputation is strong and unusual: people know you are good and cannot summarise you, which loses you the opportunities that are allocated on a one-line description. Choose the sentence yourself and use it consistently. Everything else about your range can continue underneath it. The sentence should describe the kind of problem you solve rather than the sector you work in, since that is the part that stays true when you move.
The work is not going to become conventional
A partner hoping the arrangement settles into something more standard is waiting for a change that is not coming, and that is worth saying plainly rather than allowing it to be discovered. What you are offering is genuine commitment inside an unusual structure, and the two are not in conflict unless nobody has said so.
