It is genuinely restorative and it can substitute entirely for going. Book something small and real once a year, because the internal version has all the same features and produces none of the change.
A faith you have never explained
There is something you hold to be true about how things work that you have never argued for, defended or even quite stated, and it has been steering your decisions for a long time. Confinement is the thing you cannot take

You believe it will be all right

It is not naive and it has never been tested aloud. Keep it. Just notice that it makes you a poor judge of when a situation genuinely requires action rather than patience.
You disappear and come back cheerful
Your pattern is periodic absence: a stretch where nobody hears from you, followed by a return with no explanation offered and none apparently needed. It works for you and it wears on people who assumed something was wrong. Send one line before you go under. Your reappearance is genuinely warm and the interval is what does the damage.
You went further than anybody expected
The distance between your inner life and the one you were raised inside is larger than any of them know, because you never reported it. They have an idea of you that stopped updating some time ago. Tell one relative something true about what you actually think. The gap has been maintained by silence rather than by disagreement.
Restlessness with nowhere to go
Long periods without movement or change register physically here rather than emotionally: broken sleep, an evening irritability with no cause, a heaviness that lifts the moment there is something on the calendar. Treat travel and change of scene as maintenance rather than as luxury, and note that even a small one works where an enormous amount of rest does not.
The belief has never met an argument
Because your convictions are held privately, none of them has been through the ordinary process of being contested and revised, which means some of what you believe is decades old and untested. Take one out annually and argue the other side properly, alone if necessary. What survives is genuinely yours; the rest has been sitting there unchallenged purely because nobody knew it was there.
