Roles with a single repeating function will get the worst version of you regardless of the salary, and you will spend the whole time believing the problem is your character. You will happily research what everybody else should charge and have not looked at your own arrangement in years, because the topic is boring rather than difficult. Put it in the same batched hour as the other dull items. Once a year, twenty minutes, with the market figures open. It is the highest-value dull task available to you.
Sorting the practical without turning it into a debate
Domestic logistics with a partner become a negotiation because you can argue any position quickly and enjoyably. It is exhausting for somebody who simply wanted the thing decided. Agree the boring arrangements once, in writing, and then stop reopening them. Save the debating for subjects where being persuaded would actually be interesting.
