People find out how fast you are within a minute
People discover your speed before they discover anything else, because there is no interval anywhere in the mechanism. Mars in Gemini in the 3rd house doubles the same instruction: the sign fights with words and the house is where words live, so thinking, talking and going at something are one motion.
That is why the ordinary exchanges of your day carry more voltage than other people's. The message, the correction, the passing remark: all of it is delivered at working temperature, and the immediate world around you is livelier and slightly more combustible than it would otherwise be.
Disagreement is how you show up
You take the other side reflexively, sometimes on positions you hold yourself, because the exchange is more interesting with tension in it. To you it is play. To roughly half the people you do it with it is an attack, and they will not say so, they will simply stop offering opinions. Name the game before you start it and almost everyone will join in.
Six sources before breakfast
You gather information aggressively and constantly, cross-checking, chasing the detail, arriving at any conversation already briefed. It makes you formidable in the short term. The gap is depth: everything is known to about the same shallow degree. Once a year take one subject and go past where the summaries stop, purely to find out what that feels like.
The version that went out in writing
Spoken, your sharpness is softened by tone and speed and the whole thing is over in a minute. Written, it arrives with no context at all, at whatever moment the recipient happens to open it, and stays available to be reread indefinitely. Almost every communication you regret was typed rather than said. The rule that fixes this permanently is mechanical rather than moral: anything written while irritated waits an hour, anything consequential waits a night.
Sharpened against a sibling
Somebody close to you in age taught you to argue, probably by being extremely difficult to beat. Your verbal reflexes were built in that room and they still switch on at family gatherings decades later. Retire the scoreboard where you can. The thing worth having now is an ally who knows exactly how your mind works, which is rarer than winning.
Your circle runs on the group chat
Friendship for you is maintained in fragments: the link sent, the running joke, the constant low-level contact that never becomes a phone call. It keeps a lot of people alive in your life at once, and it is thin. Convert one of them a month into something with a duration: a walk, a meal, three hours with no other tabs open.
The relative who is also the news service
You know what is happening with everybody and you circulate it, mostly benignly. The line you cross without noticing is between keeping people connected and moving information that was given to you for one person. Ask yourself who told you, and whether they would have told the room. That single question resolves nearly every version of this.
The person who gets the answer in an afternoon
Given an unfamiliar problem you will have located the three people who know, extracted the essentials and produced a workable answer while others are still scoping it. That capability is worth a great deal and it is invisible on a job description. Say plainly what you do, in those terms, because nobody is going to infer it from a title.
Two hundred small tabs, all still open
The specific tiredness available to you is not physical, it is the cost of never having closed anything: the unfinished conversations, the decisions deferred, the twelve half-tracked commitments all quietly running. It reads as low energy and it is actually load. Spend an hour a week closing things rather than resting, and the tiredness lifts in a way that sleep does not manage.
You will fall for a mind first
Attraction here starts with how somebody thinks and whether they can keep up, which means the conversation is doing the work that chemistry does elsewhere. It is a good filter and an incomplete one. Check separately for the slower qualities, because a brilliant three hours tells you nothing about how a person behaves on a difficult Tuesday.
