The working day has to be going somewhere
Growth reaches you Sagittarius-flavoured and it lands in the 6th house, which means the ordinary day must be part of something larger or it becomes very difficult to do at all. Purposeless routine flattens you within weeks. What this needs is a job where the direction is visible from the desk.
You take on considerably more than the role requires whenever the work is genuinely interesting, and almost nothing beyond the minimum when it is not. That variation is not unreliability so much as the whole mechanism, and it can be arranged for rather than apologised over.
Taken on because it sounded interesting
Your workload grows by enthusiasm rather than by assignment: you volunteered, the subject appealed, and by the time the detail arrived you were committed. Several of those are now permanent. Ask what the ongoing obligation is before agreeing, since the interesting part is generally at the start and the maintenance runs for years.
Impatience with the process itself
Procedure that exists to be followed rather than to achieve anything irritates you visibly, and you have skipped steps that turned out to matter. The instinct is often right and it is not always. Find out what a rule is for before ignoring it, since about a third of them are protecting something you had not considered.
The body wants more than the job allows
Sedentary work reaches you as restlessness, poor sleep and a general flatness that is easy to blame on the job itself. It is partly the job and it is mostly the sitting. Put real movement into the working day rather than at the end of it, since by the evening the deficit has already been paid in mood.
You would rather learn it than repeat it
The first three months of anything are where you are most valuable, and the second year is where you disengage without quite admitting it. That curve is consistent across your whole record. Arrange work that keeps a learning edge in it, because the alternative is a series of good starts and unexplained departures.
You cannot do work you consider pointless
A role that pays well and means nothing produces a slow deterioration in you that nobody else can see the cause of, and the explanation is never in the conditions. It is the purpose. Ask what your work is actually for, since the answer predicts your next two years more accurately than any salary does.
Colleagues get the good version of you
At work you are cheerful, open and generous with your time, and people enjoy having you around considerably more than you realise. The friendships rarely outlast the job. The person at home receives whatever is left by seven in the evening. Move two of them somewhere else deliberately, since you have consistently underestimated how much you are liked and how easily that could continue.
Home hears about the plan before the decision
The people you live with are told about every possibility as it occurs to you, so they have lived through a dozen imagined resignations and one actual one. It is exhausting for them and entirely ordinary for you. Say which ones are real, since they cannot tell and have been bracing for all of them.
You have taken the interesting job over the paid one
Several times you have chosen the role that appealed to you over the role that paid properly, and you would defend every one of those decisions. The cumulative cost is nonetheless large. Ask for the money as well as the interest next time, since organisations offering meaningful work are extremely comfortable paying in it.
Routine is what you need and what you resist
Regular sleep, meals and movement would fix most of what troubles you physically, and the regularity is exactly what you will not sustain. That contradiction is the whole difficulty here. Build the routine around variety rather than repetition, since a schedule with different content each day is the only kind you have ever kept.
