Venus in Scorpio in the 6th House (House of Work and Health)

Scorpio says how Venus shows up; the 6th House says it happens in daily routine, work, body and health. Put the two together and you have the placement as it sits on a chart.

You cannot do a job you do not care about

Venus in Scorpio in the 6th house means the ordinary working day is not a neutral space for you. Either the work has hold of you, in which case you give it everything, or it does not, in which case every hour is a genuine cost you can feel accumulating.

There is no moderate setting available. Colleagues who can do a job adequately and think about something else are a mystery to you, and this is why your working life divides into periods of total absorption and periods you would rather not describe.

Two colleagues, and everybody else

Within any workplace you form one or two real bonds and remain entirely correct with the rest. The people you have chosen would be defended at some cost to yourself; the others receive nothing beyond competence. That is a workable arrangement. Just be aware that it is visible, and that people notice which category they are in.

You find out what is actually wrong

Given a recurring problem you look past the stated cause to the thing nobody wants to name: the arrangement that is not working, the person who is not doing their job, the decision that was wrong three years ago. You are usually right and it is rarely welcome. Choose whether to say it, since saying it is a decision with consequences.

The body reports what you are not saying

Suppressed frustration goes into you rather than out of you, and it emerges physically: the tension, the disturbed sleep, the gut. You will investigate the physical thing at length before considering the situation that produced it. Ask what you have been putting up with, since that question has resolved more of these episodes than any other approach.

Loyal to a bad job for far too long

Your commitment does not switch off when the arrangement stops deserving it, and you will stay somewhere corrosive out of a refusal to be defeated by it. That endurance is real and it is being spent badly. Set a date to review rather than a threshold to endure, since you have no reliable internal signal for when enough is enough.

You bring the day home without saying so

A difficult period at work arrives in your household as silence and a shorter fuse, and you are unlikely to explain any of it. Whoever lives with you is left guessing and often concludes they are the cause. One sentence on arrival about the day being bad, with no detail, prevents almost all of that.

Learning to stop before it is finished

You keep going at something long past the point of usefulness, because stopping while a problem remains feels like surrender. Not everything can be solved and some of what you have persisted with was never yours. Practise abandoning one thing a year deliberately, since the capacity to stop is the one you have never developed.

Your household runs on your endurance

You absorb the practical and emotional load at home without discussion and keep absorbing it well past any reasonable limit, and the family has no idea where the ceiling is because you have never shown them one. Say the number out loud before you reach it, since the version they eventually see is the collapse rather than the warning.

Work involving what others avoid

Crisis, recovery, investigation, the failing department, the situation everybody has been stepping around: this is where you are exceptional, and it is work most people decline. Take it deliberately and be paid properly, since the willingness to go into unpleasant situations is scarce and organisations have never once volunteered to price it.

Rest feels like a concession, and is not

Stopping while something is unresolved goes against everything in you, so recovery gets postponed until it is enforced. The pattern is a long period of overriding and then a hard stop. Schedule the rest as a fixed obligation rather than as something earned, since your own judgement about when you have done enough is not reliable here.
