You have never signed anybody else's version
Someone hands you the standard expectation of what a relationship is and you cannot sign it, not out of contrariness but because it does not describe anything you actually want. Uranus in Libra is shared across a span of birth years; the seventh house governs partnership, so nothing here is diluted.
Which is why relationships have been the central subject of your life rather than one area of it. The terms of every significant bond you have had were worked out from first principles, usually with some difficulty and always without a template to fall back on.
What the arrangement is, stated out loud
You will say what a relationship actually is: what is being offered, what is not, what happens if. That conversation is one most people avoid for years and you have it in the first month. It removes an enormous amount of the ordinary misery that comes from two people running incompatible assumptions and never checking.
You can design a relationship that fits
Given two people and their actual requirements, you can construct an arrangement that works for both, which is a genuine and rare capability. It is why friends bring you their relationship problems. Applying the same rigour to your own arrangement as you do to other people's is not automatic here and is worth doing deliberately.
The permission to want something indefensible
What you will not do is want something you cannot justify as fair to everybody. Every requirement gets tested against reasonableness before you will say it. So the unreasonable wants — the ones that are simply true — never get voiced. Stating one, unjustified, is the exercise, and a good partner will find it a relief rather than an imposition.
A relationship that is genuinely yours
What builds here is an arrangement nobody handed you and nobody else could operate: terms you wrote, tested and revised over years, fitting two specific people. That is a serious achievement in a domain where most people inherit their assumptions wholesale. Writing the current terms down, once, is worth the hour, because you have almost certainly renegotiated more than you remember.
Equality is not a preference here
An imbalance of power in a relationship — money, attention, whose life the arrangement is built around — will end it eventually, however much affection there is. You cannot talk yourself out of that. Checking the balance explicitly every so often, in specific terms rather than as a feeling, catches the drift while it is still small enough to correct.
You are working out how two people should live
The long question running under your life is what a fair arrangement between two people actually looks like, and you have been testing answers in practice since you were young. That is genuine research rather than a series of relationships. Treating your accumulated conclusions as knowledge, worth passing on, is more accurate than treating them as a personal history.
The partnership is the working unit
You do your best work opposite somebody rather than alone or in a crowd, and the pairing itself is what generates the output. That makes solo roles a poor use of you and large teams merely tiring. Constructing a working duo, formally or informally, is the single arrangement that most improves what you produce.
You gave your partner a different deal
The arrangement you have made with your partner is visibly unlike the one your parents had, and that was deliberate. It is worth acknowledging what you were correcting for, since half of it was probably right and half of it was a reaction. Sorting which is which lets you keep the good half on purpose rather than by accident.
Your own needs go to the back of the queue
Managing the balance between two people takes continuous attention, and yours points outward almost all of the time, which means your own signals get processed last if at all: the tiredness, the thing that has been aching for months, the appointment never made. Nobody is neglecting you; you are simply not on your own list. Handing somebody else the job of booking it, literally, is the arrangement that works, because you will act on their request when you would not act on your own.
