Two things at once: a genuine group and a room you are the centre of
Uranus crossed Leo between 1955 and 1962, so the refusal of the assigned part is common material with that whole stretch of birth years; the eleventh house is where yours landed, which is the part of the chart dealing with friendship, community and what you hope for.
So the groups in your life are real communities and they are also, unmistakably, arranged around you. Both are true and neither cancels the other. It means you have given a great many people somewhere to belong, and that none of those places would exist in the same form without you in the middle of them.
Read as needing an audience, running on generosity
People conclude that you gather others because you want to be the centre. What is at least as true is that you put considerable effort into making somewhere worth belonging to, and the position at the middle is a by-product. Handing the centre to somebody else for one occasion is the cheapest available demonstration that the first reading is not the whole story.
You leave a circle without warning anybody
When a group stops interesting you, you simply go, and the departure is complete rather than gradual: no announcement, no diminishing attendance, nothing to respond to. People who had organised part of their lives around your presence take it much harder than you would expect. Saying that you are stepping back, once and in advance of doing it, keeps most of the individual friendships that would otherwise end along with the group.
Nobody else can hold it together
The circles you build are genuinely dependent on you, and when you go they thin out or dissolve within a year. That is a real consequence and it is worth knowing before the next time you lose interest. Deliberately building somebody else into the middle of it, early, is the only thing that makes a group survivable.
A community with a character to it
What builds here is not a network but a place with a definite atmosphere: people know what it is like, it is unlike anywhere else, and being part of it means something. That is uncommon and it takes years. Naming what the character actually is, out loud, lets other people protect it when you are not there.
You are the reason several people know each other
A number of friendships, and probably a marriage or two, exist because you put people in the same room. That is a substantial contribution to other lives and nobody thinks of it as one. It is worth noticing when you next wonder what you have done with your time, because the answer is standing in front of you at every gathering.
Your reputation travels through your circle
Professionally, what people believe about you is largely transmitted by the group rather than by anything formal, and it moves faster than any record ever could. That is an asset and it is not under your control. Being deliberate about one thing you want said about you, and behaving accordingly in front of the circle, is the only steering available.
Friendship first, and then it turned into something
The relationships that have mattered here began as friendships inside a shared circle and changed category later, sometimes years later, which is a slower and more durable route than most people take. It also makes the beginning ambiguous for a long stretch. Saying out loud that something has changed, rather than waiting for it to become obvious, is the move you consistently do not make and the one that decides the outcome.
You are the one they are proud of and slightly wary of
Your relatives enjoy having somebody conspicuous in the family and are never entirely sure what you will do next, and both of those have been true since you were young. It has left you occupying a permanent position at family gatherings rather than simply attending them. Turning up once and being unremarkable, deliberately, is stranger for everybody than any performance would be and it is worth doing.
Your ambitions have always needed other people
The things you want to do cannot be done alone: they need an audience, a company, a group willing to turn up. That makes your prospects unusually dependent on other people's enthusiasm and unusually vulnerable when it fades. Building one version of the ambition that survives having nobody involved is worth doing, purely as a fallback you have never allowed yourself to consider.
