Two things at once: enormous range and no settled position
Uranus in Gemini is shared weather across a whole span of birth years, rewiring how information moves through people; the ninth house is the street number where yours came down, which puts all of that into belief, learning and the long view.
So you carry an unusual number of frameworks and belong to none of them. You can argue several incompatible positions convincingly, which is genuinely useful and leaves you without anywhere to stand. Both the range and the homelessness come from the same equipment, and neither is going to be fixed by choosing harder.
The framework changes every couple of years
What you believe about how things work gets substantially rewritten on a regular cycle, usually after something you read or somebody you met. Each version is better than the last and none of them is final. People who took your last position seriously are left holding it, which is worth a brief warning rather than a full explanation.
Nothing gets deep enough to be useful
The cost of the range is that you rarely go past the first interesting layer of anything, so you can discuss almost any subject and rely on almost none of them. It is not a memory problem. Choosing one field and staying with it past the point where it stops being novel is the correction, and the difficulty is entirely in the staying.
The permission to be committed to one thing
What you will not do is declare a position and stand behind it, because committing forecloses the others and being wrong in public is intolerable. So you remain interested in everything and answerable for nothing. Stating one belief plainly, without the qualifications, is the exercise, and the fear underneath it is more specific than you have admitted.
A frame of reference nobody else has
What accumulates is a genuinely unusual set of comparisons: you have read, been or spoken to enough different things that you can place almost any argument in a wider context. That is real intellectual capital and it looks like general knowledge. Using it for one sustained piece of work, rather than in conversation, is what turns it into something that exists outside your own head.
The search is the thing, not the answer
You have looked into a great many accounts of how to live and adopted none permanently, and any expectation that you will eventually settle on one has been quietly wrong for decades. The looking is the practice. Accepting that as a legitimate position, rather than as an unfinished stage, ends a long-running argument you have been having with yourself.
Friends from every school of thought
The people around you hold incompatible views and each of them believes you broadly agree with them, because you can speak all the dialects. It is not dishonest and it does leave you slightly unlocated. Saying one thing you actually think in front of a group that will not all like it is uncomfortable and it is how a set of acquaintances becomes a set of friends.
You fall for a way of seeing things
What captures you is somebody's frame rather than their character: how they explain the world, what they have read, the angle they take on something ordinary. It has led you into relationships with people whose actual company was a poor fit for you. The frame is genuinely attractive and it is not the same as the person. Spending a dull afternoon with somebody, with nothing to discuss, is the test that has always told you the truth.
You were the one who asked why
The beliefs your family held did not survive your questions, and you were probably asking them before you were old enough for anybody to want to answer. It made you difficult and it also stopped a certain amount of pretending. Letting one inherited belief stand unexamined now, purely as a gift to whoever still holds it, costs you nothing and is more generous than it sounds.
The itinerary is always too full
Given a week somewhere unfamiliar you will attempt four times what the time allows, because everything is interesting and none of it can be left out. You come home requiring a recovery from the recovery. Nothing about that is going to change through resolve. Deciding the number of things before you look at what is available, and treating it as fixed, is the only version that has ever survived contact with an actual itinerary.
