Count the conversations you started that nobody else would
Count the times a room was avoiding something and you named it. Uranus crossed Aries between 2010 and 2018, so the reflex to move first belongs to a span of birth years; the third house, set by your birth hour, aims it at how you speak and think.
What that produces is a mind with almost no gap between forming a thought and delivering it. Other people draft internally; you find out what you think by hearing yourself say it. The speed is genuine and so is the absence of a filter, and the two cannot really be separated without losing the useful half.
Taken for aggression, running on impatience
People read a challenge into your questions that you did not put there. What is actually happening is that a slow conversation is physically uncomfortable for you, so you cut to the operative point and skip the approach. The content was never hostile. Adding one sentence about why you are asking, ahead of the question itself, removes almost the entire misreading at no cost to the speed.
Positions arrive complete and are hard to revise
Your opinions do not assemble gradually; they appear whole, often within seconds of encountering the material. Most of the time they are sound, which is the trap, because the few that are wrong are held with exactly the same conviction. Waiting one full day before stating a view on anything consequential is a small tax that catches the expensive minority.
You will open a subject other people are circling
In any group there is something everybody has noticed and nobody will introduce, and you are the one who introduces it. That is a genuine service and it is rarely thanked at the time. It is worth doing deliberately rather than accidentally: choosing the moment gives the same result with a fraction of the damage.
A working style built on going first
Over years this becomes a recognised function rather than a personality trait: you are the person brought in when a conversation has stalled, or sent to ask the thing nobody wants to ask. Several people have relied on it without ever mentioning it. Naming the function to yourself lets you charge for it, decline it, or aim it, none of which is possible while it is simply how you are.
Friendships that begin with an argument
Your closest people are often ones you disagreed with early and sharply, because the disagreement established that neither of you would be managing the other. It is an unusual entry route and it filters efficiently. It also means you can miss people who need a slower opening, and some of them would have been worth the wait. Holding back for the first two meetings occasionally is worth trying, purely as an experiment.
Say the thing the room is avoiding, and get paid for it
Meetings, negotiations and reviews where somebody has to break the polite deadlock are where your value is highest, and it is genuinely rare. Most organisations have nobody who will do it. Making it explicit that this is part of what you are for, at the point of being hired, converts an awkward habit into a mandate. Without the mandate the same behaviour gets recorded as a problem.
The one who said what everybody knew
In your family you are almost certainly the one who put the unspoken thing into words, probably young and probably at some cost. The immediate reaction was not gratitude. The longer effect was that the subject became discussable, which nobody has ever credited you with. Raising it once more, calmly and without the original heat, often gets a completely different reception.
The head takes the tension first
Mental acceleration here lands in the head, the jaw and the eyes: a tight band after too many hours of talking, a difficulty stopping mid-thought, headaches that track your workload rather than anything else. It responds to physical exertion far better than to quiet. Twenty minutes of hard movement between mentally demanding blocks does more than a longer rest at the end.
You will say the difficult thing while it is still small
Where most couples let a problem accumulate, you raise it immediately, which prevents almost all of the slow damage and produces a lot of small collisions instead. Partners who prefer to let things settle find this exhausting. Agreeing when the conversation happens, rather than whether it happens, gives you both what you need. You will still raise it, but not necessarily at eleven at night.
