Felt before you are understood
Your core self is Scorpio and it reports for duty in the 1st house, so people register something about you immediately and cannot name it. You are not doing anything; the concentration simply reads. You need rooms where intensity is an asset rather than something to be apologised for.
This produces two consistent reactions. Some people find you compelling from the first minute and want to know more, and some become guarded without being able to say why, and both are responding to exactly the same thing.
You hand over almost nothing at the start
Meeting somebody, you ask and observe rather than disclose, and by the end of an hour you know a great deal and they know your name. It is protective and it works. Notice that it also puts the whole burden of the relationship on them, so offer one real thing early where you actually want the connection to happen.
The level look people cannot hold
You look at people directly and for slightly longer than most, and the effect is considerable. Some read it as attention of a quality they rarely receive; others experience it as being examined. Both readings are accurate. Since you cannot switch it off, aim it deliberately: give it to the person nobody is listening to rather than to the person you are assessing.
Underestimating how much you show
You believe you are unreadable and you are not, at least not in the way you think. What is invisible is the content, and what is unmistakable is the temperature: when you have withdrawn, when something has landed badly, when you are not saying what you think. People navigate around that reading constantly and rarely mention it.
Choose what you let show
The instinct is to conceal by default and then to disclose all at once to the very few. That works for the few and leaves everybody else guessing, which invites them to fill the gap with something worse than the truth. Pick two or three ordinary facts about yourself and give them away freely. It costs nothing and it removes most of the misreading.
People decide about you quickly
First impressions of you are strong and not neutral, and they form on very little evidence. That is worth knowing rather than resenting. In situations where you need to be trusted fast, do something small and warm in the first five minutes, because your default settings do not read as approachable and never will.
The interest is obvious before you say anything
When you are drawn to somebody it registers in the room, whatever you intended, and the attention is unmistakably specific. That is either flattering or overwhelming depending on the person. Give them room to respond in their own time, and say something plain and ordinary early so the intensity has a person attached to it.
People decide quickly whether to be honest with you
Something in how you arrive tells colleagues that the usual account will not survive contact, so you get either the truth in the first meeting or a careful performance and nothing else. There is very little middle. Use the first outcome deliberately by being the person who asks the direct question early, and accept that the second kind of colleague will never warm up, whatever you do about it.
What you hold in shows in the jaw
You process by containment rather than expression, and it settles physically in the jaw, the neck and a chest that stays braced. Sleep is usually the first thing to go. Regular hard physical effort is not a lifestyle choice here, it is the release valve. Without one the containment simply gets denser, and the denser it gets the less you notice it.
Deciding to be known by somebody
Privacy protects you and it can quietly become the whole architecture, so that by fifty nobody has the full picture. That is a choice you are making daily without noticing. Choose one person deliberately and tell them things in ordinary instalments, on unremarkable days, rather than waiting for a crisis to make disclosure necessary. Crisis disclosure is not intimacy, it is triage.
