You arrive open and already halfway out
Sun in Sagittarius in the 1st house puts an expansive temperament in the position everybody meets first. You take up space cheerfully, you talk to strangers, and something about you suggests you are on your way somewhere else. You need room, physically and socially, more than you need approval.
That combination is genuinely attractive and it sets an expectation. People assume you are easier to know than you are, because openness of manner is not the same as disclosure, and yours can run for years without much of the second.
The honest thing gets said before the tactful one
Your first response is the true one and it arrives at conversational speed, which people find refreshing until it is aimed at them. You are almost never being unkind and the impact does not depend on your intention. Add half a second before the observation about somebody, and keep the speed for everything else, which is where it serves you.
The restlessness is visible
When you have finished with a situation your body announces it: the shifting, the checking, the plans forming visibly behind your eyes. Colleagues and partners read it accurately and often before you have admitted it to yourself. Treat their reaction as early information rather than as an accusation, since they are usually right about what they are seeing.
Enthusiasm that recruits people
When something interests you, other people end up doing it: the trip, the course, the change of career. Your belief is contagious and it is not calibrated. Take some responsibility for the recruiting, because you can move on cheerfully from a thing that somebody else has now committed a year to on the strength of your excitement.
Staying long enough to be known
An identity built on being about to leave is a thin one, however good the stories are. What deepens this placement is remaining somewhere past the point where it stops being novel: the same city, the same people, the same work. Pick one thing to stay with for five years and let the rest of the appetite run freely.
Easy to meet anywhere on earth
You start conversations with strangers without effort and collect people in every place you pass through, which makes your address book wide and geographically improbable. The weakness is continuity rather than warmth. Choose five names and keep them alive on an actual schedule rather than on goodwill, because the rest will fade pleasantly and entirely without either party doing anything wrong.
Hired for the energy in the room
Your presence changes the temperature of a meeting, and roles that involve winning people over play to that: business development, teaching, anything front-facing. Detail-heavy back-office work does not, however senior the post. Take the outward-facing seat deliberately, and pair yourself with somebody who genuinely enjoys the follow-through that you are not going to do.
A body that needs distance covered
You do not sit still well, and a sedentary stretch shows up as irritability before it shows up as anything physical. The hips and thighs take the strain first. Walking counts more than the gym here, and it needs to be long rather than intense, several times a week, outdoors wherever possible.
Wanted, and not fenced
You are drawn in quickly and you leave quickly if the arrangement starts to feel like an enclosure. Say what you actually need in terms of freedom, early and concretely, rather than discovering it as a grievance. Most people will accommodate a stated need and none of them can accommodate an unexplained departure.
The horizon is not a destination
Something in you keeps expecting the next place to be the one, and it never is, because the appetite is the point rather than the arrival. That is worth knowing at thirty rather than at sixty. Keep travelling and stop treating any particular move as the answer, and the movement becomes a pleasure rather than a search.
