Imagination is the arena
The 5th house takes your Pisces Sun and makes the imaginative life the place where you are most yourself. Making things, daydreaming, the internal film that runs while you are doing something else: this is not escapism but the actual arena. You need regular unstructured time in which nothing is required.
Without it you become flat in a way that no amount of pleasant activity corrects. The remedy is not entertainment, which is somebody else's imagination, but the empty hours in which your own starts working.
What you make comes from somewhere you cannot account for
The work arrives rather than being constructed: the image, the melody, the sentence that was not there a minute ago. That is a genuine channel and it is unreliable in exactly the way channels are. Show up regularly anyway, since the material comes considerably more often to somebody sitting at the table than to somebody waiting to feel it.
Falling for the version you imagined
In romance you construct a picture of somebody early and then relate to the picture, sometimes for years, and the actual person can wait a long time to be met. It is not naivety, it is the imagination doing what it does. Ask them a factual question about their week, and let the answer revise the image.
With children you go where they are
Around children you enter the invented world rather than supervising it from outside, which is rare and which they never forget. You are also the adult who notices when something is wrong before it is said. Both come from the same permeability. Keep some boundary alongside it, since a child needs an adult who is not entirely inside the game.
Finish the thing that arrived
The characteristic loss here is not lack of material but abandonment: the piece begun in a rush of certainty and left when the certainty faded. Everything you have started is still worth something. Choose one, set a finishing date, and complete it on a day when you feel nothing at all about it, which is when finishing actually happens.
Romantic in the original sense
You love completely and somewhat outside the actual circumstances, which is the best and most dangerous thing you offer. Keep the depth and check the picture regularly against the person. One direct question a week about what they actually think keeps the relationship attached to somebody who exists. Ask about something concrete rather than something meaningful, since the concrete answer is the one that corrects a picture.
Paid for what cannot be specified
Work involving imagination, atmosphere, story or feeling suits you exactly, and roles requiring precision under pressure do not. Build a portfolio rather than a résumé, since what you do is easier to show than to describe. Then find one practical person to handle the parts of the arrangement you will not manage.
The adult who believes them
A child near you gets somebody who takes their inner world seriously and notices their state before it is announced. That is a genuine gift and it produces enormous trust. What it needs alongside it is reliability about ordinary things, since a child cannot rest on somebody who is emotionally attuned and practically unpredictable.
The friend who suggests going somewhere strange
Your idea of a good evening is atmospheric rather than organised, and the people who like that will follow you into odd and memorable situations. Keep proposing them. Just be the one who checks the practicalities occasionally, or the evening becomes memorable for reasons nobody wanted. Book the table, check the last train, and let the rest of the evening be as improvised as you like.
Bringing it out of your head
The imaginative life is already rich and the question is whether any of it exists outside you. That is the difference between a gift and a body of work. Choose one form, however small, and put something into it every year, so that the interior has somewhere to land. Pick the form for how easily you can return to it rather than for how impressive it would be.
