The light is real and it burns out of sight
The 12th house takes your Leo Sun and puts it behind the curtain. The warmth, the generosity and the wish to be wholehearted are all fully present; the arena for them is private. You need somewhere unobserved where you are allowed to be at full strength.
The result is a person who is magnificent one-to-one and oddly muted in a crowd. Both are you. The task is not to fix the second version but to make sure the first one gets enough hours.
The generosity leaves no trace
You give away a great deal on condition that nobody knows: the money, the intervention, the reference written, the situation quietly handled. That instinct is genuine and it is also a way of avoiding the exposure that receiving thanks would involve. Accept the thanks once this year and notice how uncomfortable it is. That discomfort is the actual work here.
Wanting to be seen and refusing to be looked at
Both impulses are strong and they arrive together: the wish for recognition and an immediate withdrawal from the room where it might happen. It leads to a familiar pattern of nearly volunteering and then not. Notice it as a pair rather than treating the retreat as your true preference, because only one of the two ever gets to speak.
Behind the scenes, and unmistakable there
In supporting roles you are anything but small: the person who shaped the performance, the adviser everybody depends on, the one whose taste is all over the finished thing. That is a legitimate and satisfying place to work from. Just make sure at least a few people know the extent of it, because a contribution nobody can name is easily written out.
Find the visibility you can actually stand
A stage is not the only form of being seen. Written work, a small group, a craft where the object is public and you are not: these give you recognition at a voltage you can tolerate. Choose one deliberately rather than oscillating between full exposure and complete concealment, which is the pattern this placement falls into unaided.
Warmth needs somewhere to go
Energy held in without expression turns heavy here, showing up as low mood and a flatness you cannot account for on paper. The remedy is expressive rather than restful: something made, played or performed regularly, even for an audience of nobody. Missing it for a month is usually the actual explanation for a bad stretch.
Extravagant behind a closed door
In private you are romantic and demonstrative to a degree nobody outside would guess, and in public the same person barely holds hands. Tell a partner that this is the arrangement rather than letting them read the public version as coolness. What feels obvious to you is genuinely invisible from where they are standing.
Everything one-to-one
Your friendships work in single conversations rather than in gatherings, and the people who have had one of those know exactly how much is there. Arrange your social life to suit that rather than fighting it, and stop treating the large gathering as the thing you ought to enjoy. Two long meetings a month with one person each will do more for you than eight parties.
The credit you never claimed
A significant amount of your work has gone out under somebody else's name, sometimes by arrangement and sometimes by default. That is a fine way to work and a poor way to be paid. Keep an accurate private record, and use it in the one conversation a year where your contribution has to be described by you.
Letting one thing be seen
The arc here runs from hidden to chosen: the interior stays yours, and one thing gets put where people can find it. It will feel like far too much at the time and it is almost certainly the right size. Pick the smallest public gesture available to you and make it before the year ends, without waiting to feel ready.
