You cannot do a task that makes no sense
The 6th house takes your Aquarius Sun and applies a questioning temperament to the ordinary working day. A procedure whose purpose nobody can explain is not merely irritating to you, it is close to impossible to perform. You need work where the reasoning behind the routine is available.
That produces genuine improvement wherever you are employed and a recurring difficulty with institutions that run on precedent. Both effects are strongest in your first year, before you have learned which battles the organisation will tolerate.
The reformer inside the process
You redesign the workflow, spot the redundant step and propose the better version, usually correctly and often unasked. That is real value and it lands badly when the current process belongs to somebody. Attach the proposal to a problem they already complain about, and the same suggestion arrives as help rather than as criticism.
Routine that you built yourself
You resist imposed structure and function well inside one you designed, which looks like inconsistency and is not. Take the trouble to construct your own working pattern deliberately rather than reacting against whatever is given. A self-made routine gets followed here; an inherited one gets quietly abandoned in about six weeks. Write it down as a document rather than holding it in your head, because a routine you can read is one you can revise deliberately instead of abandoning.
The body as an experiment
You approach health analytically: the trial, the variable changed, the protocol read about and tested. That is a reasonable method and it needs one discipline attached, which is running the experiment long enough to produce a result. Six weeks per change, one change at a time, and a note of what actually happened.
Which rules are worth the challenge
Questioning everything is as automatic as obeying everything, and it spends your credibility on procedures that do not matter. Choose the two or three that genuinely affect the work and comply visibly with the rest. That contrast is what makes people take your objections seriously when you finally raise one. Pick them at the start of a job, before you have accumulated grievances, and the selection will be better than any made in the moment.
Sent in to redesign it
Process improvement, systems work, anything where the existing way is acknowledged to be broken plays to your strongest instinct. Steady operation of a settled process does not. Look for the role that comes with a mandate to change something, since without the mandate you will do the same work and be resented for it.
Irregular by preference, and it shows
Your natural pattern is uneven: long absorbed stretches, skipped meals, sleep at unusual hours. You handle that better than most people and not indefinitely. Anchor two things only, and let the experiment continue everywhere else. Total regularity is not achievable here and two fixed points are. Pick the two that everything else depends on, which for most people here are the wake time and one real meal a day.
The colleague who says the quiet part
You name the thing everybody in the team has noticed and nobody has said, which makes you popular with peers and complicated for management. That role is valuable and it accumulates cost. Pick the occasions deliberately rather than doing it whenever the opening appears. Ask yourself who benefits from it being said this time, and whether the answer is the team or your own irritation.
Independence over advancement
You will take the arrangement with more autonomy over the one with more money, repeatedly, and that is a coherent choice rather than a lack of ambition. Just price it once. Knowing what the autonomy has cost you over a decade lets you keep choosing it deliberately rather than by reflex. Put an actual figure on the difference across ten years, and then decide again with the number in front of you.
Improving the thing you are inside
Leaving an institution because it is badly designed is easy and changes nothing; staying long enough to alter it is the harder and more useful act. Choose one place worth that. Reform requires a person who is still there in year six, and your instinct will be gone by year two. Pick the institution now and commit to a decade, since nothing you have to say about it counts until you have stayed.
