First the feeling that something is wrong, then you are holding it
The sequence is old and fast. Something in an atmosphere shifts, you register it before anybody has spoken, and within a day you are carrying whatever it turned out to be. Cancer at the tail in the House of Transformation means other people's crises have always arrived in you directly.
It settled here because sensing trouble early was protective, and taking it on was how you made it manageable. The capacity is real. What has never existed is a version of this where you notice something and do not pick it up.
The groove is taking it on
Whatever the crisis and whoever it belongs to, your first movement is towards it: the difficult situation absorbed, the distressed person held, the family emergency made your responsibility within hours. Nobody asked. The response is automatic and it has never once been preceded by an assessment of whether the thing was yours.
What you can hold that others cannot
You can be present for somebody in genuine collapse without flinching, needing them to recover, or requiring anything back. That is a rare capability and it is why people bring you the material they can take nowhere else. Several people have almost certainly been carried through the worst period of their lives by this.
The accumulation nobody sees
The cost is a store of other people's difficulty that you have never set down anywhere. It does not surface as a complaint about anybody. It surfaces as a heaviness with no obvious source, a tiredness that clearly predates the current week, and a private sense of being considerably older than the calendar suggests.
Accept the offer you would normally decline
Capricorn stands across from it, in the arena of self-worth, where the growth is a structure of your own that nobody else is inside. Accept the next offer of help you would ordinarily refuse — the practical one, from somebody competent, that you could handle yourself. Let them do it entirely. Receiving is the whole exercise.
Money that comes with obligation attached
Financial arrangements in your life tend to have relationships woven through them: the loan to a relative, the informal support, the inheritance that carries expectations. None of it is separable from feeling. Put one financial arrangement on paper with terms and a date. Written terms protect the relationship rather than doubting it.
The keeper of other people's worst years
You have been present at a striking number of other people's collapses, and you remember all of them in detail. That history is a form of service and it has never been recognised as an experience of your own. Write down what those years cost you, privately. Acknowledgement has to start somewhere and nobody else is going to offer it.
Bonded through their difficulty
Your deepest attachments have generally formed during somebody else's hard period, which is entirely genuine and sets a particular shape at the outset: you as the one who held, them as the one who was held. Neither of you has renegotiated that arrangement since it formed. Build one thing together that has nothing whatever to do with anybody's difficulty. A shared project with no crisis in it is unfamiliar ground for this pairing.
The family brings you what it cannot process
Whatever your relatives cannot handle — the bad news, the estrangement, the thing that happened years ago — tends to be routed to you, usually without anybody deciding that it should be. You have carried it well and it has never been shared out. Say once, plainly, that you cannot hold the next one alone. The redistribution has to be requested.
Carrying it costs something measurable
Holding somebody through a genuine collapse is physically expensive, and because the event belonged to them the expense never gets attributed anywhere. You come out of those months depleted in a way that nobody, including you, connects to what you were doing. Take a defined recovery period after the next one, as though you had been the patient. The claim is legitimate and nobody else is going to put it in on your behalf.
