Saturn in Sagittarius in the 5th house means enjoyment has to be going somewhere before you will permit it: the trip that teaches you something, the hobby that becomes a skill, the relationship that is worth the time it will take.
The 5th house is what exists for its own sake; Sagittarius wants everything to mean something. Saturn supplies the requirement that it be justified. So your pleasures are substantial, purposeful and genuinely enjoyed, and the category of things done for no reason at all is essentially empty.
The weight is needing a point
The demand for purpose is not a preference here, it is a condition: an afternoon that produced nothing registers as an afternoon lost, and the accounting runs whether or not you endorse it. That is why holidays get planned like projects and why the genuinely idle day is something you have to be forced into by circumstances.

Sometimes that is right. It is worth checking whether the requirement for progress is coming from the relationship or from the same accounting that governs your afternoons.
The creative work has a subject and an argument
What you make tends to be about something: it has a position, it is trying to say something, it is not decorative. That gives your work real weight and it can prevent you from ever making anything simply because you wanted to see how it turned out. One piece a year with no argument in it is a genuine exercise.
With children you are the one who explains why
Your instinct with children is to give them the reasoning: why this matters, where it leads, what it is for. That is a real gift and children mostly want the thing itself rather than its justification. Play the game without extracting a lesson from it, and notice how much longer they stay.
You organise the ambitious version of everything
Your gatherings and trips tend to be the ones with an itinerary and a purpose behind them, and the people who come enjoy them enormously and occasionally would have preferred an afternoon in a pub. Both of those are true at once. Letting somebody else plan the next one, without quietly improving it beforehand, is a small experiment in tolerating a lower yield.
Exercise has to have a target or you stop
Movement without a goal attached does not hold your attention for long, so your physical activity runs in intense purposeful blocks with substantial gaps between them. The blocks are genuinely effective and the gaps quietly undo most of what they achieved. Keeping one modest thing running permanently, unmeasured and entirely unambitious, is what turns the whole pattern into something cumulative rather than cyclical.
