Most people spread it; you concentrate it
Most people distribute closeness across several relationships. You put it into one, entirely. Pluto in Scorpio in the 7th house drives full-depth attachment into the one-to-one bond, so the person opposite occupies a position nobody else comes close to.
The Scorpio half of this is collective. Pluto marks a long span of birth years with the same weight about depth and merging, and that says nothing about you specifically. The 7th house is the personal half, fixed by your birth time. It aims all of it at the person opposite rather than at your own character or your resources, which is why the defining events of your life have arrived through one other person rather than through circumstances.
What is being withheld holds you
On what is being withheld. You know within weeks what somebody is not saying, and the not-saying occupies you far more than anything they disclose. It is why superficial relationships bore you within a month and why the difficult ones hold you for years. That instinct is accurate and it is also a trap, since the presence of something hidden is not the same as the presence of something worth finding.
The test is being the one who is known
You can give somebody complete attention and keep yourself almost entirely out of view, and you have done it for years at a time. The exercise here is the reverse: letting one person see something you have not curated for them. It is considerably harder than the intimacy you already provide. Do it once, in a small way, and observe that the consequence you have been avoiding does not arrive.
How the intensity reads to them
They feel entirely seen, which is rare and unnerving in roughly equal proportion, and they also sense that they are not being shown the same thing back. Some read it as mystery and some as a wall. Neither reading is wrong exactly. Tell them which it is, because the ambiguity is doing more damage over time than any disclosure would.
Full commitment, with terms attached
What you offer is genuine and enormous, and given without conditions it becomes something neither of you can manage. The version that works has terms in it: what you need, what you will not do, what would end it. Stating those in advance sounds cold and it is what makes the depth survivable. Say them at the beginning rather than discovering them at the end.
You test before you believe them
You set small unannounced tests for whoever gets close: a withheld piece of information, a difficulty mentioned lightly, a chance to disappoint you. Most people never know they sat one. The results are genuinely informative and the testing itself does damage that the information does not repay. Tell one person that you do this, since being told is the only version of the test anybody can pass honestly.
Loyalty with a hard edge on it
You will do almost anything for the few people who are in, and a betrayal ends the relationship completely and permanently, with no gradual cooling. Both halves are unusual and both are real. People rarely know which side of the line they are on until they have crossed it. Say where the line is, once, in ordinary language, since nobody has ever been shown the map.
Alliances rather than networks
Your working life runs on a small number of deep alliances rather than a broad set of contacts, and those few have opened more doors than any amount of circulation would have. The weakness is concentration: when one of them moves on, a whole channel closes. Build one new alliance a year deliberately, well before you need it, since these take years to become useful.
What is jointly held, and what is not
You are careful about what becomes shared, and there is generally something kept separate that the other person does not fully know about. That is prudence and it is also leverage, and both are true at once. Decide which one it currently is, honestly. If it is leverage, either say so or dissolve it, since an undisclosed reserve quietly changes the relationship it was meant to protect.
Somebody married in and changed everything
A partner, yours or somebody else's, altered the shape of your family permanently, and the effects are still being felt years later. Everybody has an account of it and none of the accounts match. You know more about what actually happened than most of them do. Decide what you will do with that, because holding it silently has been a position rather than a neutrality.
