Worth decided by comparison, every time
If this had a written brief it would say: your value will be established against somebody else, repeatedly, and never simply stated. Pluto in Libra in the 2nd house ties what you own and what you are worth to the balance between you and other people.
The Libra half of this is collective. Pluto takes decades to cross a sign, so that tone belongs to a long span of birth years and describes an era rather than an individual. The personal half is the 2nd house, decided by the hour you were born. It puts the whole question of balance into money and self-worth, which is why a salary figure lands on you as a verdict about your standing rather than as a number.
Where the intensity actually collects
Not on acquiring things. It collects on the exchange itself: what was agreed, whether it was even, who came out ahead. You can be genuinely relaxed about having less than somebody, and completely unable to let go of an arrangement that was unfair by a small margin. The margin is the subject, not the amount.
The season the arithmetic stopped working
There was an arrangement, financial or close to it, where you gave more and the imbalance was never acknowledged. A shared household, a business, a family agreement. You went on being reasonable about it for a long time, and something in your account of the world changed anyway. That episode is why you now read every offer twice.
The ledger you keep and never present
You know exactly what has been contributed on each side and you will not raise it, because raising it feels like the opposite of being fair. So the record accumulates instead, and one day it comes out complete, at a volume nobody was expecting. Present it early, in an ordinary voice, while it is still short.
A figure that does not need a comparison
The version of this that works is deciding what your work is worth on its own terms and then holding to it regardless of what the person beside you is being paid. That sounds obvious and it will feel, for you, like removing the only measuring instrument you own. Do it once and keep the figure written down somewhere.
Everything is easier once it is jointly held
Money moves through partnerships for you: shared accounts, business partners, arrangements where two people are involved in the decision. It suits you and it also means your finances are entangled with your relationships more than most. Keep one account that is entirely yours, whatever the state of things. Not as an exit route, as an anchor for your own judgement.
Learning to state a price without an apology
A long piece of this is moving from asking what would be reasonable to saying what you want, which is a different sentence and a harder one. The first invites a negotiation about your worth; the second does not. Practise it somewhere low-stakes this month, out loud, so that the words are available when the stakes are high.
The pay conversation you keep converting into a favour
You go in to discuss money and come out having agreed to something reasonable that is not what you went in for. It happens because you cannot hold a position while somebody is being pleasant to you. Write the number on a card and put it on the table. Physical objects survive charm better than intentions do.
Nobody is allowed to be owed
You settle up fast, you return the favour with a slight increase, and you cannot bear an open account with a friend for more than a week. It reads as scrupulous and it also keeps everybody at a manageable distance from you. Leave one thing unreturned for a month deliberately, and notice that the friendship does not deteriorate at all.
Comfort bought instead of taken
Your instinct when depleted is to purchase the good thing: the meal, the chair, the treatment, the object that turns the evening civilised. It works briefly. What the body was actually asking for is generally free and less elegant, and it involves stopping. Try the unpurchased version first, once, and compare the two honestly.
