Count the times you stood up and said it
Count the occasions when you have publicly held a position that cost you something. There are more than most people have. Pluto in Leo in the 9th house puts the whole question of significance into belief, so what you think is not a private matter and never has been.
Pluto spends years in a sign and about two hours crossing a house, which is the difference between the halves of this. The Leo tone belongs to everybody arriving in that long window; the house was set by the minute of your birth. It aims the need to matter at conviction and teaching, which is why being publicly wrong is a category of pain you feel more sharply than most.
What was set early
Somebody in your early life held a view with total authority, and either you took it over entirely or you spent years overturning it in public. Either way the model you absorbed was that belief comes with a person attached and is held from the front. That is why an anonymous position has never satisfied you and probably never will.
Where the conviction jams
You cannot revise a position you have stated publicly without it costing you something, so you defend beliefs longer than you actually hold them. Everybody can see the gap except you. Change one publicly this year, out loud, with the reasoning attached. It is far less damaging than the slow defence of something you stopped believing years ago.
How the certainty reads
People find you compelling and occasionally overbearing, and the two are produced by the same delivery. What you experience as sincerity arrives as a claim to authority. Ask a genuine question in the first minute of any serious conversation, since that single move resets the reading before your conviction has a chance to be misfiled as vanity.
A belief worth putting your name to
You can hold a room, change what a group thinks and take the consequences of it, and that is a real instrument rather than a personality trait. It is wasted on small territorial arguments. Choose one thing a year you would say publicly even if it were unpopular, and spend the instrument there rather than everywhere.
The thing you would still say at cost
Underneath the positions you have taken there is one you would hold even if it removed everything you have built on top of it, and you may never have identified it explicitly. That is the actual centre. Write it down in one sentence, since a conviction you cannot state in a sentence is not yet available to you when it matters.
You change what a group believes
In any circle you are the one whose view shifts the others, and it happens whether or not you were trying. That is influence and it comes with a responsibility nobody has ever mentioned to you. Ask what the quietest person in the group thinks before you speak, since your position tends to close the question before it has been opened.
You took a public position they had to live with
Something you said or did in the open put your family in a position they did not choose, and it has never been fully discussed since. You were probably right and the cost was real. Ask one of them what it was actually like for them, and take the answer without defending the decision, which is not currently in question.
You want your mind taken seriously
What holds you is a partner who engages with what you actually think rather than with how you present it, and affection that never touches your positions eventually feels like being decorated. That distinction is invisible from outside. Say it directly, since most people assume that admiration is what you are after and supply more of the wrong thing every year.
Speaking in public takes a physical toll
Teaching, performing or arguing publicly costs you far more than the hours involved: the heart, the throat and a flatness afterwards that arrives regardless of how well it went. Build a genuine trough after each one, at the same length every time, rather than scheduling the next thing into the space where the recovery should be.
