Let one thing end properly this year
Let one thing end properly this year. With the North Node in Scorpio in the 8th house, both ends of the axis point at the same practice: merging, releasing, and being changed by what you go through. You need one arrangement you enter fully rather than hold at arm's length.
The South Node sits in Taurus in the 2nd house, so your instinct is to hold your own ground and keep everything reversible. A doubled assignment removes the alternative arena: this is the only place it can be practised.
Merge one thing completely
Start with a single arrangement entered without a private reservation: money genuinely pooled, a decision that binds both of you, a commitment with no quiet exit built into it. Then leave the exit unbuilt. The exercise is the absence of the reservation rather than the size of what is shared, so choose something small enough to survive.
The people you have kept at a safe depth
Everybody close to you is close to a fixed point and no further, and the point is exactly where the surrender would begin. Choose one relationship and go past it this year — tell them the thing, share the risk, let them matter more than is comfortable. There is nothing gradual about this particular step.
Depth is not drama
You will imagine that this arena requires crisis, intensity and difficulty for its own sake, and refuse it on the grounds that you prefer a calm life. Depth is a good deal quieter than that. It is one shared account, one honest conversation, one thing genuinely released. None of it needs to be turbulent to count.
Keeping the exit available
The retreat is the reserved position: the separate account, the private plan, the option you have not mentioned to anybody. Each is prudent, and together they mean nothing you have entered has ever been fully entered. Close one exit deliberately and tell the other party that you have. That announcement is the actual commitment.
Share the risk, not just the upside
Joint financial arrangements here have been structured so you carry very little: the safe portion, the secured position, the part that survives if it fails. That is prudent and it means you have never really been in anything with anybody. Take a real share of one risk this year and hold it to the end.
Give them something you cannot take back
Your intimacy has been reversible by design: everything shared can be unshared, nothing is structurally lost if it ends. Give one thing that cannot be recovered — a disclosure, a commitment, a resource that is genuinely theirs now. Irreversibility is what distinguishes intimacy from good company, and you have been living on the second.
Things you had to let go of
The shape of a life here is set by what you have been able to release: the roles, the people, the versions of yourself that finished. Holding on has been your default and it has kept several finished things technically alive. Name one of them and close it this year, properly and out loud.
Talk about the end before it arrives
Nobody in your family has said anything about wills, wishes, care or what happens next, and everybody is relying on it working out. It will not work out; it will be improvised under pressure by whoever is least distressed. Raise it once, calmly, this year. The conversation is grim for an hour and useful for decades.
Be the person somebody names
Ask yourself who has you written down as their contact — for an emergency, for a decision, for the practical aftermath of something. If the answer is nobody, then no bond around you has ever been made formal. Offer to be that for one person and ask one person to be it for you. Naming changes a relationship immediately.
