Count how quickly you found the reason
Count how soon after something bad you had an account of what it was for: the lesson, the way it fitted, what it made possible. Neptune in Sagittarius in the 8th house produces that reliably, and the account arrives long before anything has been felt.
Two facts of different sizes sit here. The era supplied the horizon-shaped longing; your birth hour supplied the 8th house, and that is where it went to work — on loss, on shared resources, and on the parts of life that will not be reasoned with.
A transformation that would explain itself
The picture you carry of a hard passage is one where the meaning becomes clear: it happened for a reason, it led somewhere, the shape makes sense in retrospect. Sometimes it does. In shared financial arrangements you assume good faith and a good outcome, which is usually right and occasionally very expensive. Underneath a good deal of your reading, travelling and thinking is a search for the framework that would make loss bearable and the whole thing make sense. It is a serious project and it has no completion. What people find instead is a practice: something done regularly that holds the question without answering it. Look for that rather than the answer.
You are the relative who says the hopeful thing
At the worst family moments you supply perspective, and some relatives are grateful and others feel their difficulty has been overruled. Both reactions are to the same sentence. Ask what they want before offering it: company, or a way of seeing this. It is a short question and it puts you in the right register every time.
You will explain the physical thing rather than attend to it
Faced with something in your body, you construct an account — stress, a phase, the meaning of it — and the account substitutes for the appointment. It is not denial, it is a faster and more interesting route. Book the appointment first and do the thinking afterwards. The order is the only part that needs changing.
Friends bring you their crisis for the wider view
People come to you when they need to be able to see past something, and you can genuinely do that for them, which is valuable and specific. It also means you rarely get the version where somebody simply sits with you. Ask one friend for exactly that, and specify it, since your reputation will otherwise deliver perspective straight back.
