Then the job begins and you have to become the sentence. The honest correction is to under-describe by one notch and let the work catch up in public. Arriving slightly larger than promised is worth more than a spectacular first month.

Families settle on one line each and stop updating, and the line assigned to you was probably fixed before you were fully formed. Yours never fitted, so you either argued with it or performed it to keep the peace. Neither works well over decades. What does work is showing rather than correcting: let a few concrete facts about your current life reach them and let the summary quietly fall out of date.
