Most people are inside their own inner life; you are watching it
Most people experience their interior from inside it. With Neptune in Aquarius in the 12th house you observe yours from a small distance, producing an accurate running account of your own states while remaining slightly outside them.
The network-shaped longing is a shared inheritance among people of the same birth years; the 12th house is the private half. Both are true, and the second is the one that describes your days, since the system you are always redesigning is your own interior.
Detachment imagined as the destination
What you have been working towards, without stating it, is a state of complete equanimity: nothing landing too hard, everything understood, no reaction out of proportion. Several traditions describe something like it and none of them recommends getting there by declining to feel anything. The route you are on produces the appearance without the substance.
They read the distance as not needing anybody
Because you can describe your own difficulties calmly and rarely appear shaken, people conclude you are managing, and support is routed to those who show distress. It is a reasonable inference. Say plainly that you are struggling with something specific, in language with no analysis in it. The plainness is what makes it audible.
Understanding accepted in place of feeling it
When something painful happens, you arrive at an accurate account of it very quickly, and the account is genuinely satisfying and does not discharge anything. The feeling remains, unprocessed, underneath a good explanation. Describe the same event with no interpretation at all, out loud. The absence of the frame is the entire exercise and it is difficult.
Record the felt version, not the analysis
Keep a note that contains only what things were like, with no reasons, structures or patterns in it: how the week felt, what was heavy, what was surprisingly all right. It will read as unsophisticated. That is precisely the register your interior life has never been recorded in, and it is the one that will tell you something new.
The report is accurate and always arrives late
You can produce a precise account of your own condition across the last six months and very little about today, so decisions get made on retrospective data and every response is a season behind. Ask a cruder question daily and accept a crude answer: better or worse than yesterday. Currency matters more than resolution here, and you have been optimising for the wrong one.
You have been studying yourself rather than living in there
Your interior has been the object of long and genuinely intelligent observation, and observation is not the same as habitation, which is why the account is so good and the experience so thin. Spend some time inside it without taking notes. Whatever happens when the observer sits down is the part you have never collected.
You explain yourself accurately and stay out of reach
A partner can receive a clear, honest account of what you are like and still not have met you, because the account is delivered from outside. It is disorienting to be on the receiving end of. Say something inarticulate about how you feel, once, without cleaning it up. The mess is the part that reaches people.
You worked out the household and were never in it
Early on you developed an accurate structural understanding of your family — the roles, the arrangements, who was doing what — and the understanding functioned as a place to stand while everything went on around you. It was a good strategy for a child. Ask what it was like rather than how it worked, and answer as though somebody else were asking.
A private reason for the work, held at arm's length
There is something you are actually doing this for, and you have examined it, categorised it and declined to feel much about it. Examination without feeling leaves a motive fully mapped and entirely unmoved. Say what you want out loud, plainly and without the analysis attached. It is a different sentence and it does different work.
