The same chair, the same person, for a very long time
A Taurus Moon in the 7th house forms a bond slowly and then keeps it. Your sense of safety attaches to one person and one shared routine, and once that is in place it takes something enormous to move you. Partners get durability of an unusual kind.
What follows is that the beginning is the hard part rather than the middle. You are cautious about entering, slow to declare, and occasionally still deciding while somebody else has already moved on.
A partner discovers what reliable actually means
You do what you said, arrive when you said, and remain through years that scatter lighter attachments. There is no performance in it and no visible effort, which is why it is often noticed only in comparison to somebody else. The person on the other side of this is standing on ground that does not shift.
Physical closeness carries most of the message
Affection here is expressed by proximity and touch rather than by discussion, and a partner who needs it in words may be waiting a long time for something you have been supplying continuously. Say the plain sentence occasionally. Nothing about how you show it is wrong; it is simply not legible to everybody.
A position taken becomes permanent without review
Inside a long partnership, your conclusions about the other person set: what they are like, what they will never do, what happened that time. None of it gets revisited, because it stopped feeling like an opinion years ago. Ask them directly whether the description still fits, and be prepared for the answer to be no.
Move something in the relationship on purpose
Change one shared routine deliberately while everything is fine: the holiday somewhere unfamiliar, the evening rearranged, a habit dropped by agreement. Voluntary movement keeps a long partnership from setting into an arrangement neither of you would choose again, and it is far cheaper than the upheaval that eventually arrives without your consent.
Slow to commit, nearly impossible to shift
Commitment here arrives late and then does not move, and what forms at that pace outlasts almost anything quicker. Two things are worth telling a partner outright at the start. Pressing you produces resistance rather than acceleration, so the slowness is what the permanence is made of. And a grievance has to be raised inside the week, because your ability to put up with something without comment turns a small injury into a permanent feature that neither of you can date afterwards.
One close friend, kept for decades
There is usually one person you have known since before either of you was interesting, and the friendship has never needed managing. It formed slowly, it has outlasted several addresses, and neither of you would describe it as work. The gap it leaves is on their side: long silences from somebody as undemonstrative as you are easy to misread. A short message in a quiet month costs nothing and closes it.
The business partner everybody wants and nobody rushes
In a working partnership you supply patience, follow-through and a refusal to panic, which is exactly what a volatile counterpart needs and rarely values until later. Where you lose out is in agreeing terms, since you will accept a settled arrangement rather than negotiate a better one. Get the terms right at the start, because you will not reopen them.
You become the steady one in their family too
A partner's relatives take to you quickly and then rely on you, since you are the calm presence who turns up and does not add complications. It is a good position and it accumulates duties. Notice how many of their family obligations have quietly become yours, and check that your partner has noticed as well.
Choosing the person, repeatedly
The work here is not staying, which is automatic, but choosing on purpose: asking every few years whether this is still what you would pick, when nothing is wrong and no answer is being forced. Loyalty that has never been examined is a habit; the same loyalty examined and confirmed is something considerably better.
