You do the work nobody else wants to look at
A Scorpio Moon in the 6th house brings real intensity to ordinary tasks. What holds your attention is the difficult case, the mess somebody left, the problem everyone has been avoiding, and routine work with nothing at stake in it leaves you unengaged within a month.
That intensity does not switch off with the working day. A situation left unresolved at five o'clock stays live inside you until it is settled, which is why your evenings are frequently occupied by something that formally ended hours earlier.
You read the workplace before you have unpacked
Within a week of joining anywhere you know who actually decides, which alliance is real, and which pleasant colleague is on the way out. The accuracy is high and mostly unshared. Use it for navigation rather than for judgement, and be careful how much of it you say out loud, since being right early makes people uncomfortable.
Concentration of a kind other people cannot sustain
Given something worth doing, you go into it completely and stay there for hours without needing variety, encouragement or a break. That capacity is rare and it produces work of real depth. It also means you will not notice hunger, time or a deteriorating posture, which is the price of the same mechanism.
Nothing shows until a great deal has accumulated
Difficulty at work gets absorbed here rather than reported: the impossible workload managed silently, the unfair treatment noted and not raised, the strain carried until something gives all at once. Colleagues are genuinely surprised. Give one person a routine honest reading regardless of whether anything appears wrong, since the visible signs will arrive far too late.
Build a hard ending into the day
Because nothing closes on its own here, the transition has to be manufactured: a physical routine, a walk, something that marks the boundary and is not negotiable. What you are ending is not the tasks but the internal engagement with them, which will otherwise continue quietly through the evening and into the night.
You will not notice until it is considerable
When something has hold of your attention, hunger, posture and the passing of six hours all get overruled without any decision being taken. You surface at eight in the evening having noticed nothing. Because the reporting from inside is unreliable, the correction has to come from outside it: an alarm, a colleague, a fixed hour for the meal. Treat those as instructions rather than as prompts to be considered on their merits.
Paid for handling what others avoid
The daily work that suits you is the kind with consequences attached: the file nobody has opened, the client everybody dreads, the failure that has to be traced to its cause. You do not need the atmosphere to be pleasant and you do need the problem to be real. Roles built on routine reassurance will lose you within a year, so choose by the difficulty of the caseload rather than by the comfort of the office.
Few colleagues, and one who knows everything
At work you keep a courteous distance from most people and form one or two genuine alliances of unusual loyalty. That is a workable arrangement and it leaves you exposed when the ally leaves. Widen the perimeter by one person deliberately every couple of years, chosen rather than left to whoever persists.
You take the task nobody else will touch
In the household you take the business everybody else flinches from: the relative who is failing, the money that has gone wrong, the conversation nobody will start. You handle it competently and entirely alone, which is how it became yours. A family that never hears what it costs has no reason to stop assigning it, so describe the weight once, plainly, to somebody who was not there.
Your labour is worth what the difficulty is worth
The work you accept is work other people turned down, and you price it as though the difficulty were free, because from inside it has never felt like difficulty. It is the scarcest thing you sell. Ask what the last person to attempt it was paid, or what it cost the organisation during the months nobody would take it on, and set your figure from that. Nothing in your competence is missing here; only the naming is.
