Most people adapt to the schedule, you rebuild it
An Aquarius Moon in the 6th house cannot settle into a working pattern designed by somebody else. What steadies you is a day arranged your own way, at your own hours, by a method you worked out, and conventional office rhythms produce a low friction you may never name.
That extends to health and routine generally. Standard advice does not take here; what works is a system you have designed, understood and can explain, which is why the unusual arrangement you invented is the one that has lasted.
You can see what the process is actually doing
Given a workflow, you notice the step that exists for historical reasons, the check that checks nothing, the rule everybody follows and nobody can justify. That is a valuable and unpopular capability. Say it once with evidence and then let it go, since the same observation repeated becomes a personality rather than a proposal.
Autonomy matters more than conditions
You will tolerate a demanding job with real independence and quietly deteriorate in a comfortable one with somebody watching. Being managed closely is the specific thing that costs you, well beyond the workload. Negotiate for latitude ahead of almost anything else, since it is the variable your working life actually turns on.
The body gets consulted last
Living a little above your own experience makes physical signals easy to miss: hunger noticed hours late, tiredness inferred rather than felt, tension discovered when something stops working properly. Instinct will not report this accurately. Build fixed checkpoints into the day rather than relying on noticing, since the noticing is the part that does not happen.
Design the week and then follow your own design
Your compliance is high with systems you built and close to zero with systems you were handed, which is usable rather than a fault. Spend an hour designing an unconventional week that fits how you actually work, write it down, and treat it as yours. That is the only form of routine that survives here.
You need an explanation before a habit
Being told what is good for you produces no compliance at all; understanding the mechanism produces immediate and durable change. That is a usable feature rather than an obstacle. Read the reasoning behind whatever you are considering, and choose approaches that make sense to you rather than ones that come recommended, since the second kind will not survive a fortnight.
Employed for the thing nobody else was doing
What an established field has stopped questioning is visible to you and to almost nobody else in the room, which makes you extremely useful and awkward to manage in the same breath. The daily conditions decide which of those two you become: given latitude over your own hours and method you will quietly rebuild half the process, and given close supervision you will produce a third of what you are capable of. Ask about the supervision before the salary.
Friendly to everyone, attached to the odd ones
You get on with the whole workplace and genuinely connect with the two people nobody else quite understands. That is a reliable pattern and worth following rather than correcting. Keep those alliances after the job ends, since they were about the people rather than the place and will otherwise dissolve on the last day.
The household division has to be explicit
Unspoken domestic expectations do not reach you: you are not resisting them, you genuinely did not receive them. That produces friction which everybody misreads as indifference. Ask for the division of daily work to be stated plainly and written down, since once you have agreed to something specific you will do it without further prompting.
A day that belongs to you
Much of adult life consists of routines inherited from institutions rather than chosen, and you are unusually aware of it and unusually able to do something about it. Rebuild one part of the ordinary week from scratch, on your own reasoning. What that changes is not efficiency but the experience of the day being yours.
