Your name means it will be correct
Mercury wears Virgo here and keeps its office in the 10th house: your professional standing rests on accuracy. Work with your name on it does not need checking, and everybody who has dealt with you knows that within about two projects.
That reputation is slow to build and extremely durable. It also sets a standard you now have to keep meeting, and the effort of maintaining it is invisible to every single person who benefits from it.
It has to be right before it is shown
You will not release work that is unfinished, and your definition of finished is stricter than the field requires. That is why the quality is what it is and why you have missed opportunities that were available to somebody less careful. Set a release standard that is deliberately below your own: good enough for this purpose, published on this date. The standard is not the problem; the absence of a stopping rule is.
The authority accumulates without being announced
Over years, people start routing decisions through you, not because of a title but because your judgement has never yet been wrong in a way that cost anybody. Make the case with what your work saved or prevented, in figures. Quality as an argument moves nobody; a number attached to an avoided cost moves almost everybody, and you are unusually well placed to produce one.

A recommendation from you is treated as reliable, because you are known not to say things you have not checked. That is a considerable amount of quiet power and you spend almost none of it. Use it deliberately for somebody good who lacks a champion. It costs you nothing measurable and it is the most efficient thing you can do with a reputation like yours.
Doing it properly was the whole instruction
What you were taught early was that carelessness had consequences, and you have organised an entire working life around never being caught out. The instruction has served you and it was issued for a specific household rather than for your career. Ask which parts of the standard are yours, because some of it is a competence and some is an old requirement still running unexamined.
