Everything gets priced, all the time
Mercury wears Taurus here and keeps its office in the 2nd house: the sign's subject and the house's subject are the same subject, so valuing things is not an activity you switch on. It runs continuously, under every conversation, on every object and offer.
Nothing needs adding to this combination. The whole art is deciding where all that assessment gets pointed, because with both halves saying the same thing it will otherwise point at everything you own and everyone you know.
The purchase that took four months
You research a thing until you could teach it, sleep on it repeatedly, and then buy the one you identified in week two anyway. The process is not indecision — it is a body deciding whether it actually wants the object, and bodies take their time. Accept the timeline instead of fighting it, and set a hard stop, because the only real risk is that the window closes while the survey continues.
Security is a sentence you repeat to yourself
The way you settle your own nerves is verbal and specific: the figure recalled, the arrangement rehearsed, the reassurance said quietly in your own head. When the reassurance stops working you do not feel anxious in general, you feel it about one number. That precision is useful. Write the sentence down, with the actual figure in it, and check it against reality rather than saying it from memory at three in the morning.
You inherited a vocabulary about money
The words you use for spending, saving and cost were learned somewhere before you chose them: whether money is discussed or hidden, whether wanting things is decent, whether asking is rude. In this position those inherited phrases are still doing live work in your decisions. Say a few of them out loud and hear who is speaking. Some will survive the examination and some are simply somebody else's fear, still running.
Once it is yours, the topic closes
You decide what something is worth once and then the file is shut, which makes you steady in a market that panics and slow when the facts genuinely change. Being talked out of a valuation is close to impossible for you, and mostly that has served you. Build one reopening condition and honour it: new information, not new pressure. It preserves your greatest strength and removes the one situation where it hurts you.
You price your own hours accurately
You know exactly what your time is worth and you will not discount it to be liked, which makes you slow to be hired and very hard to underpay. That trade is usually worth taking. Where it costs you is at the start of something new, where the rate has to be provisional. Say the word provisional out loud when you take a lower number; unnamed, it quietly becomes the permanent one.
Enough is a figure you can actually name
Most people never define the amount that would settle them, so no amount ever does. You are unusually well equipped to answer that question, because you think in concrete quantities rather than in vague comfort. Sit down and produce the number. Once it exists, everything above it becomes a choice rather than a chase, and this whole placement stops running in the background.
Friends bring you the expensive decisions
People come to you before the flat, the car, the contract, because your judgement about value has a track record they have watched. You give the answer plainly and without flattery. The thing to watch is that you will also carry the worry afterwards, on their behalf, for months. Hand back the decision explicitly once you have given the reading; the responsibility was never transferred with it.
The household ledger ends up with you
In any household you become the one who knows what things cost and when they are due, partly by talent and largely by default. It is real labour and it is invisible from the outside. Say what it involves rather than absorbing it silently, and put the numbers somewhere the others can see. A shared record turns your competence into everyone's information instead of your private burden.
