Something at home was never explained
Because your Mercury reads in Scorpio and applies it to the 4th house, your earliest sense was that the household contained more than it was saying. A subject handled carefully, a person nobody discussed, an atmosphere with no stated cause.
Your mind was shaped by working on that. Whether or not you ever found the answer, the habit of reading the room for what is being withheld was installed at home and has never switched off.
Your front door is a boundary, not a threshold
You are private about your home in a way that surprises people who consider themselves close to you: few visitors, little detail volunteered, an address given selectively. That is not secrecy for its own sake — home is the one place you are unguarded, and being unguarded in front of an audience is not available to you. Protect it and say so plainly. Unexplained, the privacy gets read as rejection.
The interior monologue goes all the way down
Alone in your own space your thinking does not idle, it descends: the motive behind somebody's remark, the pattern running through a decade, the thing you have never said aloud examined from a new angle. It produces real self-knowledge and it has no natural end. Set a limit by giving it a form — write it rather than turn it over — because writing has a last line and turning it over does not.
You went looking and found something
Family records, old letters, the question asked of a relative late at night — you pursue the household's buried material and you are unusually good at retrieving it. What is worth deciding in advance is what you will do with what you find. Excavation without a plan tends to end with you holding a fact that changes everything for you and nothing for anybody else.
Home is where you rebuild rather than rest
Your relationship to your own space is regenerative rather than restful: you go there to be remade after something, not to be comfortable. That is why an unsettled home is so much more costly for you than for most, and why you will endure a great deal elsewhere provided that one place holds. Guard the condition of it accordingly.
You are still answering a question from that house
A good deal of your adult effort traces back to something unresolved at the root: a loss, a silence, an arrangement that was never fair. Naming it does not resolve it and it does stop the effort from being invisible to you. Write down what the original question actually was. Half of what you do makes far better sense once it is on the page, and some of it you will then stop doing.
What the household holds, your body holds
Tension at home registers in you deeply and slowly: an unsettled gut through a difficult domestic period, sleep that thins while something is unresolved under your own roof. You will keep functioning through all of it, which is exactly the problem. Treat a long stretch of domestic strain as a physical event rather than an emotional one, and give it the recovery you would give an injury.
Very few people get inside
The number of people who have genuinely been in your home, unguarded, is small and was decided by you over years. Everybody else is met somewhere neutral. The system works and it means that when one of the few moves away, the loss is unusually large. Admit one new person every few years, deliberately and on incomplete evidence, because your evidence standard will never be met by waiting.
Loyalty that outlasted the reason for it
You keep faith with the people you came from at a level most would consider excessive, including with arrangements that stopped being fair a long time ago. The loyalty is genuine and it deserves a review rather than a rupture. Ask what you would advise somebody else in exactly your position. You are the last person you extend that reasoning to.
