Your fun needs somewhere to go
The Sagittarius half of your Mercury runs the 5th house, so enjoyment has to expand or it stops being enjoyment. The trip rather than the evening out, the project with a horizon on it, the game that turns into an argument about how the world works.
Recreation that stays the same size bores you within a month. What you are looking for is not novelty exactly but scale, and a small pleasure with something larger visible behind it will hold you for years.
The work is trying to say something
Whatever you make has a position inside it: an argument, a conviction, a view about how things are. That is what makes it worth encountering, and it is also why it occasionally reads as a lecture. Keep the conviction and hide the thesis one layer down. The audience will find it and feel clever for having done so, which is a considerably better outcome than being told.
The story has grown since last time
You improve an anecdote each telling, and the improvements are not lies exactly — they are the version that better conveys what it actually felt like. Audiences enjoy this enormously. The one caution is telling it in front of somebody who was there, because their correction lands harder than the story was worth. Keep the growth for events with only one witness.
Enthusiasm is the whole engine
Interest, not discipline, is what produces your output. When you care, the work happens at a rate nobody can match; when the caring stops, no amount of professionalism substitutes. That is not a flaw to be managed, it is the machine you have. Choose projects by whether they still interest you at week six, and abandon the ones that do not without the guilt you currently attach.
You are good at making other people braver
Your natural response to somebody else's idea is that they should obviously do it, and you say so with a conviction that regularly changes what people attempt. That effect on others is one of the more valuable things about you. Just add the practical question afterwards — what would it actually take — so that the encouragement arrives attached to something they can act on.
The thing you would do for nothing
There is an activity you return to regardless of whether it pays, is admired or goes anywhere, and you have probably never taken it seriously for exactly that reason. That is the wrong conclusion. The unpaid enthusiasm in this position tends to be the truest signal you have about direction. Give it real hours rather than the leftovers, and see what it turns into when properly resourced.
You show children the size of things
With young people your instinct is to widen rather than to instruct: the place they had not heard of, the idea taken seriously, the assumption that they can handle something larger than their age suggests. That expansion is a real inheritance to give. Follow it up, though. An enthusiasm introduced and then dropped teaches them that big things are entertainment rather than options.
Romance needs a plan attached
You fall for people alongside a possibility: somewhere to go, something to do together, a life that would be larger with them in it. Pure domestic contentment does not hold your attention on its own. Say that as a requirement rather than acting on the restlessness it produces. A partner who knows you need a horizon will usually help you find one.
Get paid for the enthusiasm itself
What you sell better than anybody is conviction: teaching, presenting, advocacy, anything where somebody has to be brought round rather than informed. That is a specific and rare capability and it is frequently given away free as part of some other job. Name it as the service. The people who convert scepticism into commitment are paid for that and not for the hours.
