Your household runs on ideas, not routines
Your Mercury speaks Sagittarius and does most of that speaking in the 4th house, which means the conversation at home goes large. Meals turn into debates, ordinary domestic decisions get argued from first principles, and the household is somewhere positions are held rather than merely a place to sleep.
People who grew up with quiet houses find yours exhausting. For you a home where nothing is discussed is not peaceful, it is empty.
The beliefs came with the address
What you were taught at home about how life works — what matters, what is respectable, what people like us do — arrived as fact rather than as opinion. You have spent considerable energy since either defending it or dismantling it, and both are the same relationship. Set out the actual list once, plainly. Some of it you will keep for excellent reasons and some you have been carrying purely because it was issued to you.
Home has to be somewhere you can leave
Rootedness and restlessness sit in the same house for you, so a home that cannot be left easily starts to feel like a claim on you. The arrangement that works has departure built into it: the trip already booked, the flexible lease, the sense that staying is a choice being made repeatedly. Given that, you stay far longer than anybody expects.
You may not live where you started
This position often puts distance between where you came from and where you settled — another country, another culture, a life that would be unrecognisable at the original table. That distance is not a rejection and it can be experienced as one at both ends. Explain the move in terms of what you went toward rather than what you left. It is truer and it costs the people at home far less.
The private version is more thoughtful than the public one
Alone at home your thinking loses its performance and becomes genuinely searching: the belief actually questioned, the doubt admitted, the position revised without an audience. That is where your best work happens and it is the version almost nobody sees. Keep a private record of it, because the public version is louder and will otherwise be mistaken by you for the whole of what you think.
Being confined at home costs you physically
Long domestic stretches with no horizon in them register as a low-grade heaviness: poor sleep, restlessness in the evenings, an irritability with no obvious source that resolves the moment you go somewhere. You are not ungrateful for your home. You are a system that needs distance, and a walk that actually goes somewhere does more than any amount of rest indoors.
Your table takes people from everywhere
The company you gather at home is assorted by design: different countries, different lines of work, people who would never otherwise meet. It makes your household genuinely interesting and it can be a lot for anybody who lives there. Check that the household enjoys the traffic rather than tolerating it, since you are unlikely to notice the difference unaided.
You became the one who asks about it
In your family you are the one who raises the subject nobody had planned to discuss, usually at the table, usually meaning well. Some of that has been genuinely valuable and some of it was a debate they did not want to have. Choose the moment rather than the topic. The same question in private, on another day, gets you a real answer instead of a defended one.
You want a home with a horizon in it
Domestic life works for you when it has a shared direction attached: a plan, a move, something being built toward. A partner who wants the arrangement to stay exactly as it is will find you restless without understanding why. Say that you need a project rather than that you need a change, because those are different requests and only one of them is frightening.
