You introduce yourself with a worldview
Mercury in Sagittarius points its questions at the 1st house, so what people meet is not a job title but a position on how things work. Within a few minutes you have offered a theory, a strong opinion and probably an invitation to argue about it cheerfully.
The scale of the claim is the signature. Others introduce themselves with facts about their life; you introduce yourself with what you have concluded about everybody's.
They meet the conclusion, never the route
What arrives first is a fully formed position on something large, delivered with confidence, before anyone has heard how you got there. It makes you memorable and it makes you contestable, because the route was mostly instinct and you know it. Keep one worked example within reach for each of your big claims. It converts you from an entertaining talker into somebody whose opinions get acted on.
Honesty at first-meeting volume
You say the true thing without first checking who is standing near it, and at a first meeting the person it hits has no context for you yet. Regulars know it is affection. Strangers experience it as an assessment they did not request. The honesty needs no diluting, only staging — the same sentence, one listener, after five minutes of ordinary conversation, does the work without the casualty.
The plan you made in the first five minutes
Meeting somebody new, you generate a project with them: a trip, an introduction, a collaboration, offered in real enthusiasm and stored by them as a commitment. Half of these never happen, and each one spends a little of the credibility your larger ideas travel on. Say the smaller true thing at the moment of enthusiasm — I would like that, let me see what I can do — and your yes keeps its value.
The story grew ten percent since last time
You improve an anecdote each telling, not to deceive but because the better version feels truer to what happened. In a first impression, an audience that later meets the smaller original quietly revises everything else you said. Keep the flourish for things nobody can check and stay exact on the parts with numbers in them. It costs you almost nothing and protects the whole enterprise.
The person you are and the story you tell about him
You narrate yourself well, and the narration has been running long enough that it is now doing some of the deciding. The practice is checking the account against the actual week: what you did, not what you meant. It is unglamorous work for a mind that prefers this altitude, and it is the only thing that keeps your self-description honest enough to be worth having.
They meet your opinions before they meet you
Early on you lead with what you think about things, at length and with conviction, and a prospective partner has to work out for themselves that this is how you make contact rather than how you compete. Some find it exhilarating and some experience it as a debate they never entered. Ask one question about them inside the first hour. It is the simplest correction available here and it is the one you will forget.
You change the temperature by arriving
A gathering lifts when you walk into it, reliably, and people invite you for precisely that effect. It is a real service and it turns into a job when you are the one supplying the energy every single time. Notice which invitations want you and which want the weather. Turn up flat occasionally and take note of who is still glad you came.
Hired on the impression, kept on the record
Interviews, pitches and first client meetings tilt your way, because range and enthusiasm read as capability. The gap opens later, when what gets assessed is what you finished. Carry one piece of completed evidence into the first meeting and show it rather than describe it. The impression then stops having to carry the entire relationship by itself.
