That is a real community and it needs deliberate maintenance because nothing physical holds it together. One message a month to each of the important ones is the whole cost.
You want somebody who thinks for themselves
The requirement here is independence of mind rather than agreement: somebody who has arrived at their own positions and will hold them against you. Deference is the one quality that ends your interest entirely. Say that early, because a partner trying to please you by agreeing is doing the exact thing that will lose them your attention.
