Other charts settle; yours keeps the option open
Most temperaments put roots down and stop looking. Yours does not. Mars in Sagittarius in the 4th house puts appetite for elsewhere directly into the part of life that is meant to be fixed, so home is somewhere you commit to and keep slightly provisional at the same time.
The sign is why the horizon stays in view and the house is why it is the domestic that carries it. That produces a household that is open, generous and hospitable, and a person who has moved more than most and is probably considering it again.
The house has to be able to hold people
What matters to you about a home is capacity: room for guests, for the impromptu dinner, for somebody to stay a fortnight. You would rather have space and a poor location than the reverse. That is a real priority and it is worth stating when housing decisions get made, because it will otherwise be traded away as a preference.
Rows that are over before the plates are cleared
Domestic conflict with you is loud, immediate and genuinely finished within the hour, and you are honestly surprised that anybody is still holding it at bedtime. The recovery is not shared. Say something specific afterwards rather than assuming the return of good humour has settled it, because for the other person it demonstrably has not.
The place you came from, at a distance
You left, in some meaningful sense, and your relationship to where you started is warm and conducted from a certain range. That is not rejection and it is frequently read as such. Go back deliberately once in a while, briefly and without an agenda. Distance chosen is a different thing from distance that simply accumulated.
Somewhere else, permanently on the table
There is another country, city or life that has been under consideration for years, and it functions partly as a plan and partly as a pressure valve. Both are legitimate. Find out which by costing it properly, once. Either it becomes real or it stops taking up the space it currently occupies.
The household that everyone passes through
Your home is where people end up: the friend between flats, the relative at short notice, the visitor who stays longer than announced. That openness is one of the best things about you and it costs whoever else lives there something nobody has quantified. Ask them, and agree a limit that is yours to enforce rather than theirs.
Four walls and no horizon
Long stretches inside the same building affect you more than they affect most people, and it presents as irritability rather than as anything you would connect to the walls. The remedy is unglamorous: outside, daily, regardless of weather, before the mood has formed. Treat it as a requirement of the arrangement rather than as exercise.
Living together without being contained
Domestic life with you is warm and easily felt as unsettled, because the future keeps being reopened and the plans keep changing scale. A partner who wants to know where things stand will find that genuinely hard. Fix a small number of things and declare them not up for discussion. The rest can stay as open as you like.
Roots are not the opposite of movement
You have treated staying and going as a choice between two lives, and the arrangement that actually suits you contains both: somewhere real to come back to and no obligation to be there. Build that deliberately instead of alternating. The version where you leave permanently has never satisfied you and neither has the version where you stop.
Property decided on appetite
Housing choices in your history were made because somewhere looked like a better life rather than because the figures worked, and several of them worked out anyway. That is a real record and it is not a method. Cost the next one properly and then make the same decision if you still want to. The instinct is fine; the absence of a check is the exposure.
